Making the Bot creation process effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere vastly simplified the process for automating processes. The tools were varied and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions were less intuitive than others

The tool has lots of features and capabilities that helps us to automate almost any application.
It is easy to use so everyone could use it even without a professional programming knowledge.

Some features are not working very well such as OCR and image recognition.
The only scripting languages are VB and JS in this tool while it would be better that developers be able to use python and java scripts.
Would be nice to have a repository of sample projects so that we could use them as a guide especially for IQBots and Meta Bots
The SVN doesn't work. There is no proper version control and conflict monitoring system (something like Git) in AA

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are using this tool to mechanize different processes in our company and it helps us save a lot of time and resources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lots of enhancements required to be made in this tool regarding the Control Room Scheduling and Version Control system

Hands on exercises and trainers who come around and offer suggestions but don't tell you how to do it.

It was nice to work on your own, try to figure things out, but it was also nice to have someone here to assist.

There was an issue with Servers. It would also be nice if the experts knew the Use Case Scenario.

tools capability of providing solution for end to end automation of the processes. Availability of the training.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is less user interactive and more like programming interface. Using graphical representation for the processes will benefit more.

we were creating automated processes such as customer creation, provisioning, disputes etc for telecom client. It has helped us in decreasing significant amount of time used and learning curve required.

What do you like best about the product?
Automate and schedule complex tasks in minutes, without any programming. Record keyboard and mouse or create automation scripts with drag and drop actions

I like list variable which I can use to save multiple values. Apart from that, I like loop conditions provided so that we can implement a loop with a condition.
The concept of Metabot is really good. It allows us to develop the application just with the screenshots. Citrix automation has become very easy. The concept of control room will be useful in many Business Process Outsourcing processes. The most important feature that I like is its stability. after creation, the bot's success rate is high when compared to its competitors

code debug using breakpoints is little difficult, adding watch during debug is not great.
Should improve mail functionalities. Excel activities are difficult when compared to its competitors. Better to have variable types in the same name as general programming variable names
As an Admin, some of the things that I think can be improved is the capability for a developer to use both runner and developer license in development environment

we are trying to automate data transfer from legacy system to new platform.
The execution time has reduced compared to manual user drastically with minimal mistakes.

Automation Anywhere has demonstrated continued innovations including their bot store, and developments for unassisted bots.
What do you dislike about the product?
AA should look for better integrations into the most common systems being used to apply their technology, specifically ERP systems and MS Office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly finance and IT repeatable processes
Exciting, intuitive and relatively short learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual aspect of the software development interface as well as the inclusion of code to interface directly at a high level with common office and windows software. I like the auto login feature also as well as the intuitive workflow of creating Tasks. I like the error handling functions also and the functions that allow executable files to be run and macros run from AA.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of Excel data manipulation functions that are built in as well as the difficulty in setting up the auto login feature. I dislike the number of steps required to create a new user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Back office processes such as paying customer outstanding loan arrears have been made easier with AA. Also The repetitive and complex data movement tasks undertaken by our marketing department are handled more efficiently by AA. AA also allows us to measure the performance of the BOTs more easily.

Its not working when PDF file is scanned

Easiest RPA Platform
What do you like best about the product?
This is the easiest RPA platform to learn. You don't need programming experience to start automating your processes. Every command is in plain English for easy understanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are constraint to the commands available. In other RPA platforms you can use programming to fine-tune your commands. It also seems to be a little bit slower than other platforms, for example, UiPath. It also has crashed or hung up more than once while trying to run a bot, never had that experience with UiPath.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Human errors. With bots we no longer have to worry about human errors, plus it is faster at the same time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is by far the easiest RPA platform to learn and develop for. It is well documented and a multitude of trainings are available for everyone.
