User Friendly

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand and develop bots. We can provide fast solutions. If we encounter errors, we can receive quick customer support. Additionally, there are courses suitable for beginners in development. Nowadays, there is very good community support for developing new bots and finding solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflow should be improved. It is not working well; there are some connection errors, but I hope it will be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Queries taken from Excel and Excel compatibility are very beneficial. I used Automation Anywhere to get data from Excel using queries. Then, sending emails to responsible users is important for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Choose without hesitation. Nowadays, it has a very good community.

Great robotics software, functionality could be simplified

What do you like best about the product?
Layout and pre-defined functions are easy to select. Interface is easy to pick up. Standard recorder helps with selectors. Overall it is quite different to Kapow, UiPath and Blue Prism.
What do you dislike about the product?
The code and especially the loop structure and no ability to visualise changes [in terms of diagrams] makes the need to read, understand and memorise the code throughout the process to ensure that the loops are picked up and documented appropriately. Use of wildcards could be simplified, interaction with excel could be simplified, whilst the system table is used to store data, for some reason an installation of excel is a must, whilst no real need and other software can be used for flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating website interaction and excel is quite an easy experience. Simplification of the data input and gathering with lots of more to explore. There is no benefits at this stage as another solution is available.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with your processes and then select a software. Ideally use the trial to do small amount of testing. The benefit of having relevantly low price qualifications in exchange for skilful operators is great.

- Not stable
- No search function for the commands
- Bugs - from time to time you need to restart the system

I used AA in Finance department to automate - invoice processing, data input, report extract, email automation and etc

Great tool which could automate standard tasks where decision making is not needed. If cost fits your budget is really good

Automation Anywhere is a beneficial feature

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is pretty easy to use/understand and to find tools. It is posible to improve the quality and capacity of the team with some mouse clicks which allows to automate various tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not common to find blogs and questions about AA. This could prejudice the process since you spend more time to get answers about using AA. Besides, it pass trough dificult to find some objects of systems which is not available yet. So, we need to use image recognition which is not recommended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are installing Automation Anywhere right now. But it is very useful to automate repetitive and rule-based tasks like fillment of forms in local and web systems, generate daily reports, manage Excel spreadsheets etc.

AA resources - every single person has been very knowledgeable and helping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Online training is tedious and boring; it could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating many time consuming, repetitive tasks across multiple functions and business units like Tax, Claims, Mortgage Insurance, Finance, Investments etc.

Simplifies Automation for Anyone

What do you like best about the product?
AA makes the Automation coding process so much simpler to understand and utilize.By providing their toolbox of commands, you are able to drag and drop to create, and the recording process is incredibly simple and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the commands don't work as they should, but there are almost always ways to get around that. And any complaints to AA are responded to and worked on quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating tedious and data driven processes in a Supply Chain environment. AA allows us to become so much more efficient and saves so much time that would've been spent simply transferring or collecting data

An Admins prespective in Automation Anywhere

What do you like best about the product?
I like the how versatile this tool is to use. It is intuitive and very functional for all aspects of automation. The easiness of using this tool is a big factor for me. Unlike other Admin tools that I have used, AA is quite intuitive to navigate. I like how the menus are listed and structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an Admin, some of the things that I think can be improved is the capability for a developer to use both runner and developer license in development environment. Updating version in tasks can be made simpler ( instead of updating one at a time, there should be an option to update all tasks to the latest version at once). Migrating files from one environment to the next can be made bit easier. Also, when the folder are expanded, there could be some color coding to indicate where in the subfolder an Admin is working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves Money, saves time. It has brought Joy to many people in our company who are using this tool. AA has provided more time in their work day to do more value added work. Plus our colleague get to say "I have a robot for that". That is pride and joy.

As for the business problems, we have not been able to solve every thing that has come our way. This might be because of our evolution on the RPA learning but also due to the underlying process that needs to be vetted prior to implementing AA for RPA. Regardless, the potential are significant and are moving in the right direction to automate lots of our process that will save time, reduce errors and improve quality of work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for automating work. You should give this a try.
