Effortless Deployment, Reliable VM Protection
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Rubrik is almost effortless to deploy and very easy to set up. I find the threat detection and restore options for VMs more reliable than other tools. I am very satisfied with the product and would definitely recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not encountered such thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rubrik secures our VMs in a Hyper-v environment with reliable threat detection and restore options. It's an on-prem backup solution that was almost effortless to deploy. We switched due to scalability issues with our previous solution.

High cost Rubrik is considered expensive, especially compared to traditional backup tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ransomware & cyber‑attack recovery, Loss of Microsoft 365 data (human error, deletion, sync issues), Slow recovery after system failure or disaster, Lack of centralized backup management.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Rubrik's ease of use; it's very direct to business, sort of a pitch style. I also really like the customizability of the dashboard. The initial setup was super easy, like an 11 out of 10, which was a big plus. Additionally, I appreciate having an account manager to help with the integration process.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're still exploring the feature set of Rubrik. One thing we'd like to see improved is seamless integration that works well.

Rubrik solves efficiency issues, allowing me to manage multiple services across different domains simultaneously.

I love Rubrik's GUI the most; it's very user-friendly and makes the restoring process great. I also appreciated that the installation process was very easy, as well as connecting it within the network.

Rubrik offers a great restoring process and is user-friendly with an easy installation. I especially love the GUI.

I like Rubrik's intuitive interface (UI/UX) because I understand what and where to use, thanks to everything being thought out for me. I also appreciate how easy the initial setup was, and that Rubrik solved our backup and restore issues effectively. Additionally, I enjoy that Rubrik is integrated into our broader infrastructure and data protection stack.

I think pricing could be more flexible for small teams. More flexible pricing tiers or usage-based options would make Rubrik more accessible for smaller teams.

What I value most about Rubrik is its unified approach to data protection. It simplifies backup, recovery, and security into a single platform, reducing operational complexity while improving resilience across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

One of my main concerns with Rubrik is the relatively high total cost of ownership, especially when scaling across larger hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Rubrik addresses the growing risk that distributed hybrid and multi-cloud data cannot be reliably recovered after ransomware or infrastructure compromise by providing immutable backups, unified policy control, and orchestrated recovery.
