The goto version managing system with extra features

What do you like best about the product?
Easy-to-use interface with the ability to install it locally or within the enterprise. Also, code search functionality and integrated CI/CD support are some good additional features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing for commercial use is a little bit on the higher side and also the sporadic slowness can be observed. The administrator also finds it a little difficult when migrating between servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The centralized code repository and ability to have peer reviews are simplified greatly with the use of GitLab. The Ability track issue status with the corresponding code is a big value.

What do you like best about the product?
Gitlab is a very powerful tool for building your CI/CD pipelines. It allows your organization to do faster Development and Deployment. It also integrates beautifully with multiple tools which allow you to expand your tool capabilities and features. Overall it is a blessing in the Software development world.
What do you dislike about the product?
As your project gets bigger and more complex, your team will eventually generate more builds, where your organization may face multiple runner issues and delays. All the menus in Gitlab can be intimidating to beginners. Other than that, it is a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Faster and Automatic Deployment (CD)
2. Faster and efficient Testing (CT)
3. It makes it easier to collaborate with team members.
4. Branching is easier in Gitlab.

What do you like best about the product?
Its GUI is aesthetically pleasant, and it is significantly more powerful than GitHub in most regards - project-level issues are brilliant, as are arbitrarily deep git repository hierarchies, dissimilarly to GitHub's mere org/project standardization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Per https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/419013, a user must be notified of every event in an issue's lifecycle in order to be notified when it has been remediated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It hosts my code with its git synchronization and hostage functionality, and it hosts and provides access to online documents with its Snippets functionality. Additionally, because of its API, I use it to store important personal information due to how detailed its profiles are.

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to understand, intuitive
- Great documentation if you use help command
- Gitlab Runners, we can use them to run our code in a separate environment
- Standardised yml for various pipeline stages
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used 2 source code repos, Gitlab and Github. I really like both but I would say if you want to work with UI github will score better compared to Gitlab, also Github's co-pilot is amazing which is currently missing from Gitlab (as per my knowledge)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Source code Management
- Executing code in Gitlab runners
- Collaboration between devs and QAs
- Setting up Pipelines for various stages
- Basically a complete solution for managing code

What do you like best about the product?
I would like in the GitLab is it would be easier for everyone in the team to work together smoothly and complete their software application in a good quality. It tells us what to complete pending in the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would dislike in the GitLab is difficulty and complex when I'm using as a new joiner. I would have faced in this some performance issues and bugs in some versions of GiLab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab will solves the integrity in the software and it makes program's better communication and collaboration to work around in the team. It has the more security and quality maintenance of the application code. GutLab will benefiting the more softwares and tools which gives the better-quality to the application.

Great DevOps platform support

What do you like best about the product?
Gitlab has more security and DevOps options. The built in runners for build testing before merges is really handy. I also like all the integrations that can be used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing setup was really clunky (as far as seats calculations) that lacked transparency and tools to see what was happening (billing wise). However, lately its getting better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gitlab provides all projects with code repository organization, some devops taskflows and a place for team code review. We also use Gitlab for some development reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
GitLab is the best platform for software development I ever use, It provide a complete DevOps lifecycle, best thing in this It can be used for both small projects and enterprise level application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using this from a long time but I never disappoint with this plateform, it is very easy to use and I will highly recommed this plateform for software development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main thing in the GitLab that I really like it offers various collaboration and automation features to streamline development processes, so I would say just ho for it.
