High performance on-premise solution and easy management over Sophos central

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and quick to deploy solution. Very stable with high performance in daily use. The range of functions is very large and customisable. We are very satisfied with the provided performance and features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no support of VRFs even if zones are supported.
No option to set specific Ipsec selectors in site-to-site configuration. The firewall accepts all selector combinations so the other endpint decides which selectors will be in use.
Limited options in routing protocols like BGP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work on innovative projects and use cases in our laboratories. A high data rate and flexible hardware and software features are therefore essential for us. This requires a fast, agile firewall solution, which we have found in the Sophos Firewall.

during covid was able to continue working from home, has been a life saver
What do you dislike about the product?
the alerting and reporting is average and could be improved upon providing real time alerts for whatever chosen activity / user requires it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping keeping pupils safe in education through web filtering application control

What do you like best about the product?
can work from anywhere and have access to network
What do you dislike about the product?
the alerting could be made better for educational settings. Safegurading is a major risk now and having to bolt on 3rd party products to meet these needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving keeping kids safe in education mandates and allowing administrative staff to work remotely

Que es un producto en constante evolución para seguir ofreciendo las mejores prestaciones a nivel de seguridad, acompañado siempre de un buen servicio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Por el momento tenemos todas las sedes con la compañía cubiertas con sophos, por lo que por ahora no vemos desventajas. Si en un futuro vieramos que el producto se queda por detrás a nivel tecnologico y de funcionalidades con otro lo comentaré.

Si nos encontramos con algún problema en el funcionamiento de algún producto de sophos, rápidamente nos atienden para resolverlo.

Central management, easy to use and great sales experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support has been poblematic, with long RMA lead times, lots of hardware failures. The devices are hard to scale.

Provides compliance and baseline security protection.

Its a user friendly system, easy to use, with robust security features , with an impressive performance and network security features

While basic configurations is straight forward, improved documentation or guided tutorials would benefit us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SophosFirewall maintains a list of known issues for our products, including Sophos XG Firewall. By acknowledging and addressing these issues, Sophos is helping our businesses maintain a stable and secure network environment.

What do you like best about the product?
La sencillez de gestión de los firewalls.
Practicamente todo se puede realizar desde la consola grafica.
Integración con Sophos central.
El security heartbeat se integra con el endpoint.
Se implementan de forma sencilla y se pueden montar los tuneles SD-WAN desde la consola de central.
Soporte en español 8x5.
What do you dislike about the product?
Le faltan Vdoms.
Las politicas de NAT o de NoNAT estan en paginas diferentes, hecho de menos tenerlas agrupadas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No encuentro problemas en las ultimas versiones de los FW de Sophos.
QUe sigan implementando mejoras y sacando versiones cada vez mas potentes e intuitivas.
