What do you like best about the product?
Lo mejor es la centralizacion de todos los firewall en una unica consola web, son faciles de usar y de implementar en la empresa, tiene un soporte en español, te permiten guardar la copia de seguridad de forma automaticas en la nube, tiene sincronizacion con el endpoint de sophos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lo unico malo es que fuera del horario laboral el soporte es solo en ingles.

Nosotros teniamos el problema de tener muchos firewall de otro fabricante y no teniamos control en una unica consola centralizada, con sophos este problema esta solucionado.

Aparte de ya disponer de productos de Sophos por lo que la sincronizacion entre productos hace que todo sea aun mas facil, la escalabilidad y gracias a Sophos Central se puede monitorizar los Firewall de una forma mas agil y comoda.
Sophos Firewall tiene una buena escalabilidad y es sencilla de implementar en cualquier entorno, el soporte nos ayudo con ello de forma muy profesional y amable. Aparte de una amplia variedad de caracteristicas.

What do you dislike about the product?
Principalmente el costo es la cosa mas negativa ya que para entornos pequeños no va a ser accesible este producto, en este caso la configuracion es algo mas compleja que otros productos que disponen, como ultima cosa es que en un entorno de alta carga algunas configuraciones que se hagan pueden llegar a afectar al rendimiento.

Antiguamente disponiamos de firewalls antiguos que ya no daban abasto para el trafico de red que disponiamos, gracias a Sophos Firewall se ha solucionado la gran mayoria de problemas que teniamos sobre esto.
Despues de buscar en el mercado volvimos a optar por Sophos como mejor opcion ya que disponiamos tambien del Endpoint y podiamos tenerlo todo centralizado.

Comprehensive Next Gen capabilities in the Firewall with centralized Cloud Management and synchronized security functionality of all Sophos Solutions is the highlight of the product which gives hollistic view and coverage from the security front.

What do you like best about the product?
The Sophos Firewall has very granular filtering capabilities and once we got to grips with it this allowed us to configure access for all of the wide and varied device and user types we have and taylor connectivity to their specific needs. As part of the purchase we had setup and implentation support from trained Sophos proffesionals which was invaluable.
The firewall has been far more reliable than our previous provider (we moved from Smoothwall) which is essential for a product that is in use constantly and it also integrates well with our Sophos Endpoint software.
We use the dashboard frequently as it provides a great overview of security with a threat quotient for our user base and the advanced security features highlight and block any malicious traffic such as access to botnets.
Updates are regular and the Firewall has continued to support the latest standards and protocols evailable for web access (such as TLS 1.3, Google QUIC and various VPN protocols).
As most web traffic is now encrypted the ability to decrypt and inspect as much traffic as possible was an essential feature that the Sophos Firewall range caters for too.

What do you dislike about the product?
Initially our needs were sized incorrectly and the model of Firewall didn't cope with our needs (this was rectified by Sophos) - which was a bit of a pain.
Also the builtin report functionality is not the easiest to configure/use and there are no instant alert features. As we work in a school we see instant alerts particularly as a safeguarding essential so had to purchase FastVue which integrates nicely with the Sophos Firewall logs and has improved reporting features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Sophos Firewall provides a great level of security for our users and keeps our devices and data secure. It also provides VPN access allowing our users to continue working remotely (in a secure way). As we use Sophos Intecept X Advanced on our endpoints and integrate with Sophos Central the Firewall is also able to work in tandem with these platforms to improve end to end security.
