Sophos Firewall provides deep insights into network traffic, powerful application control, and real-time threat intelligence. Advanced features like synchronized security, SD-WAN capabilities, and intrusion prevention operate flawlessly, giving us enterprise-grade protection without the complexity. The real-time reporting tools offer excellent visibility, and we’ve experienced consistent, high-speed performance even under heavy traffic loads.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, very little. If I had to nitpick, the initial setup can be a bit detailed, but that’s expected for any enterprise-class firewall. Once configured, it’s smooth sailing.

Sophos Firewall has played a critical role in helping us scale securely. It addresses key issues like advanced threat detection, secure remote connectivity, application visibility and control, and network segmentation—all in one unified platform.
The ability to integrate with Sophos Central allows us to manage policies and monitor activity across all locations from a single pane of glass, which has drastically improved operational efficiency. Its synchronized security with endpoint devices gives us real-time threat response capabilities, reducing incident response time and containing threats before they spread.

What do you like best about the product?
We have used Sophos firewalls for 10 years now and have continued to use them because of their ease of use, their great licensing structure, and their interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike about Sophos Firewall is the support that we receive. We have had some good experiences but sometimes we run into issues where techs don't have good knowledge of the product, and they refuse to escalate tickets. Otherwise we love the product and the hardware and have had great success with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a solution that was scalable to multiple sites was a big factor in choosing a product. Sophos Firewall has the ability to act standalone but can also be deployed in HA, and then you can aggregate multiple sites into Sophos Central for easier management of multiple locations. This was a huge benefit we found for using Sophos Firewall.

We had a business case to deploy a cost effective firewall with exceptional capabilities and this prompted us to evaluate the Sophos firewall. We replaced the existing firewall which has less capability and costlier than Sophos firewall. Accordingly we got benefited with better performance, exceptional capabilities and cost savings.

There is firewall implemented in my network is Sophos and it help me to protect my users to use unwanted website and applications and block unwanted malware in my network. it protect my server from direct attack and protect server, it is easy to use, customer support is also good, it is easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
MFA is not good it need to improve MFA mathod.

It help to protect my servers.

From last 6-month new firewall will deploy in my network it is Sophos firewall it is good at gateway level is protect my users form accessing unwanted websites and it block gateway level malwares. it is easy to use and implementation also good co-operative customer support and help to resolve day by day my network Querys, easy to integration.

report structure needs to improve as it is less.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been a System Admin for over 8 years now and in helpdesk for small to medium company's for even longer. I have used a lot of the interfaces & FW even going back to the old Sophos UTM 9 & even older platforms from other brands interfaces and the way the current Sophos XG Platforms have come on over the years has been great down its ease of implementation & how well it has Integrated into our network flow. Sales & product experts team at Sophos have been nothing but amazing answering most queries

Helpdesk can be a little long to get answers from.

Martketly a better product that last vender we had in, so over all we are benefiting from all enhance features that come from that.
