What do you like best about the product?
Turbot greatly help secure AWS accounts by enforcing guardrails and auto-remediating issues in near real-time. It also has a number of other great features like tag enforcement, an extensive API, and CLI tools to interact with multiple AWS accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Turbot makes a tremendous amount of AWS API calls that contribute to a substantial increase in cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to implement automated remediation of changes made to AWS accounts that impair their security posture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure Turbot v5 is what is implemented. There are a number of features we have been wanting that supposedly will be included in this version such as tag enforcement of ALL taggable resources, the ability to turn off Turbot is certain regions/accounts, customized permissions for users, etc.

Great multi-faceted tool, providing all-in-one management for user access, security guardrails and networking.

Capabilities in current version are a tid-bit behind AWS so there is always a catchup.

Amazing tool and the only one on the market of this type / concentration for multi-account, multi-cloud provider management.

What do you like best about the product?
Turbot’s point & click user interface, and consistent hierarchical permissions model. These made it easy to understand and implement our policies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Training new members can be difficult if they do not have previous cloud experience as well
