What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable feature of Veeam Backup & Replication is that we can back up in-house and multiple cloud providers' storage.
AWS-native backup, recovery, and DR are fully automated for effortless protection while being incredibly cost-effective, secure and scalable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam Backup for AWS delivers comprehensive AWS-native backup and disaster recovery that's fully automated, cost-effective and secure to overcome cloud data loss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important ones are tape backups and replication. Those two options are available for us and enough for our needs. It has increased my business performance.

What do you like best about the product?
The quick and easy process of integration. Free edition to test the product to see if its suit the requirements.The ability to manage backup schedules.The encryption of backup with AWS KMS and quickly recovery from backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time the backup don't process as per the schedule and UI get lagged.The lack of documentation for troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The DR help us in restore in no time.When working on databases or server the backup help us to restore certain files and logs whenever its need to troubleshooting by creating same environments

That Veeam Backup for AWS is fully automated and quick to overcome any data losses, and lowest cost backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of different versions of the backup product can be quite confusing at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is being used to backup EC2 and RDS. Since it is relatively cheap as well, it benefits the organisation really well.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam has a scheduler using which you can automate backup for specific periods. It also helps restore data during disasters by creating multiple replicas across various regions. It's fully automated and secured. Veeam offers excellent capabilities in the free edition. AWS S3 bucket can be replicated across numerous areas within lighting speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam is a great offering and makes things simple by automating the backup process. Aurora DB restoration for multi-cluster needs manual creation of secondary clusters. There are some certificate file limitations imposed for Veeam linking. For EC2 the minimum configuration required is t3.medium.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam backups AWS Databases periodically, thereby creating multiple snapshots using which Databases can be restored to the previous version in case of failure, disk corruption or power outage. Also, server backup saves important config files and AMIs.

Veeam backup is although a very user friendly and helpful for aws. It allows users to backup and replicate the data easily. One thing to improve can be the cost.

Veeam backup provides a seamless experience of recovering data or files because of its user-friendly UI. It also uses lesser storage space hoven they use advanced data compressions methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Veeam Backup keeps unfolding costs by the use other infrastructure dependencies like cost of EC instances. It makes the the overall budget to increase. There's also a chance of bad infrastructure impact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a tedious task to recover files/data once lost due any unforseen technical glitch, when AWS s3 is used massivly for storage, VB for AWS not only protects the data but also minimises downtown and keep the bussiness running .

It support both on-primises and cloud data back-up. And also security and recovery for the data is never so easy.

None come up with as of now , we are happy to uskng it.

Its slove the problem of on -premises data storage and at the same time we have also able to store it in cloud. Because the product we are working is kind of hybrid architecture.

Cost-effective, reliable and fast recovery, the integration is very easy, recovery possible for tiny files to VM

User Interface can be improved, the community edition is not very helpful to the first TRY product.

Most important, daily back-up and recovery when needed. The recovery is super fast and can be drilled down to file level. The integration worked seamless making it use for multiple layers.
