Reliable and easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to setup and is very reliable. The backups are always successful and they are always working images.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to setup. It is an easy process but long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It just works. Our previous backup solution failed frequently. Veeam always works without a hiccup.

Easy to use that you can set and forget.

Has many tools to make sure all backups are running and the expenses that will be accumulated in AWS for storage.

Just have a few weeks using it and so far like it.

problems I am solving is organizing my AWS backups and being able to backup my data automatically.

First choice when it comes to backup in the cloud!
What do you like best about the product?
Building on what Veeam have been offering for several years now, having a product THAT JUST WORKS is peace of mind when running production workloads in the cloud.With Veeam backup for AWS the ability to quickly and easily deploy from the marketplace via a Cloud Formation template and get backups configured in minutes is a really powerful message and one that people need when they want to actively and properly utilise cloud computing options, Also the cost estimator at the end of a policy is a nice touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
After spending time with Veeam Backup for AWS I don't think there is anything I dislike because it a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to expand upon onsite policies for data protection with ease to the cloud and the ease of combining cloud elasticity with testing of backups really is a winning combination. The fact That your onsite or private cloud backup admin can utilise software from Veeam regardless as to where his data lives is peace of mind

Few hiccups, but solid product

Easy to install and integrate into our already existing Veeam products.

Had few bugs that needed to be solved with support, but all have been resolved at this point

Native backup in AWS without having to install agents.
Great Product!
We have been looking for a way to backup our AWS servers and the Veeam solution is perfect! I am able to backup and restore files as needed..quickly and easily. Very straightforward to setup and begin..was up and running within 30 minutes. I highly recommend!
Exactly what I was looking for
I did a lot of searching and tried a lot of solutions to archive old instances to S3/Glacier. Most required the installation of a agent or restoring the instance was not always successful. The setup of Veeam Backup for AWS was super simple and the backup and restore has been consistent and reliable.
