Everything is just one Qlik away
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik is so easy to use and understand. Every report i need is just one Qlik away.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing i dislike about Qlik it is so much better than my previous reports i would have to spend copious amounts of time producing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to heat map with QLIK which allows me to see trends and do a root cause analysis. I have over 10 different reports in QLIK i use daily from workload management, forecasting, staffing trends and quarterly business reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
The Qlik sense BI is easy to manage and produces reports and dashboards faster,
What do you dislike about the product?
The below are list of desired options and not dislikes. May be they are in the roadmap of Qlik
1. The available themes for displays are limited. The Qlik sense hub should have options to select background image of a Corporate logo or a collage of products. Though this can be done but not easy to do so.
2. Like competition make N Printing part of main software. Logging to multiple system for configuring mail and others should be reduced
3. The full grid report/ straight table report features that are available in Qlik view should be made available in the Qlik sense also.
4, More charting options like sunburst charts etc to be included

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our traditional reporting system was those static reports generated from the ERP system. This was a time consuming activity. Analysis and Dashboards creation was taking time using excel.
With Qlik sense we are getting reports and dashboards within less than a minute.
We use Qlik r creating reports and dashboards for our Sales, Secondary sales, Supply chain, Production and Finance modules.
All analysis on customer, product with sales monthly, quarterly and yearly with Growth over last year. also Production related OEE, TEEP and Supplier related OTIF analysis are also done with Qlik
Finance MIS reports like P&L, BS, Cash Flow and customer and supplier wise OS statements are done through Qlik with dashboards.
Through N Printing we are able to send daily sales and stock reports to all key people in the organization.

The Business process should be clearly understood before selecting any BI software, The requirement should be clearly signed off with functional users. The data should be cleaned of unwanted transactions, the data modelling should be done properly if the data is distributed or from multiple sources use third party tools .

What do you like best about the product?
We are a current user of QLIK Sense. We have been using it for over five years now. I am the QLIK Sense Champion. If you really dig deep into the creation of App and the manipulation of data, you can really do a lot with QLIK Sense and create a variety of different reports. We use QLIKSense for KPI Reports, Business Reports, like Sales and Purchasing Reports, etc. The speed of the software is impressive, and makes it much easier to use. You can filter data within seconds. The presentation is also clean and you can make some good looking apps that presents data cleanly and clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The QLIK specific coding language can be a barrier sometimes, and the app would benefit from more accurate and descriptive error messages and error checking. Sometimes the current error messages don't really tell me what is actually wrong with what I have defined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of our biggest problems when we sort out QLIK Sense was the reporting of sales data. We wanted to know how many sales we've had, we wanted to know our biggest customers, which customers had stopped buying, our best selling items, etc. QLIK Sense has allowed us to report on this, and much more. Currently, we are developing KPI reports for departments that are easy to read and automated.

Try to get to grip with the app creation, you can go far with it.

What do you like best about the product?
Allows you to manage the data obtained in the social networks, achieving a data analysis quite effective and practical. By getting the data obtained a spreadsheet and all this in one place, improve your access and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functions it offers are very confusing to handle, which makes them not very useful tools, it would be ideal to improve the training on how to handle the tool in a useful way.

Allows you to perform data analysis in a very practical and effective way to manage, getting data from potential customers and improve their organization and management.

I like the smooth User Interface and Qlik's associative engine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel its limitations and the constant need to install 3rd party APIs to replicate QlikView features is very disappointing. I don't like to have to use VizLib for extra or functionality that works properly. It should be included in Qlik Sense.

I am solving big data problems. On-demand apps are great. Very useful feature.

I recommend testing the demo apps available to get a look and feel.
QlikView was just magic. QikSense is great !

Easy, fast first success ... but hard to precisely get what I want from it !

It decides instead of me... I know what I want and it is heavy to get something which is not foreseen

Qlik Sense is very well suited for companies without a proper data warehouse.

What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik Sense is good for simple analytics. However, it is not that easy to set up "what if" scenarios, more advanced statistical analysis, and custom stuff.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's being used across the whole organization, and it helps change data from multiple sources to information for better decision making. This has also given us better access to transnational level data. Which has improved our scope and insights as well as improved our decision making.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If someone doesn't have a proper data warehouse, this tool is quite good due to their QVD generation capabilities and the QVDs can act as mini data ware houses as they combine various internal, external files and tables and connect them to form the basis of your application for the slicing and dicing functionality. This is what makes Qlik quite strong compared to other vendors.
Excellent Business Intelligence Software for Daily Use
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it's easy to use without any programming background for the users who "just" look at their data sets to check the actual status and breakout points, but it's also very useful on the C-level decision-making with handy infographics, charts and further dataviz opportunities. With e.g. an SQL programming backgrounds, combined with Python for instance, pretty cool data analytics stuffs can be created to ease the company stakeholders everyday life.
Besides. the updates are always communicated by Qlik managers and directors in regular webinars, and the updates are really based on the actual needs of the Qlik programmers and endusers.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd be more satisfied if the learning materials would be better, the continous classroom trainings are quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage the on-the-books, the rate, resercations, etc. in the hotel portfolio, with the hands-on data viz opportunities it's pretty much easy to look through more than 50 hotels in a glance.

Easiness comes as the first advantage of this tool. Scripting, creating objects are easy as creating objects in Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using every pixel of the screen was possible on it's elder brother, Qlikview. Now, because of the layout, it is not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Licensing policy changed from lifetime license to subscription-based license. This was a problem for the first phase of our transition. The benefits are a lot. Simplifying the business intelligence process and increasing customer satisfaction are the main benefits.
