Time saving and simplified project management on a daily basis
What do you like best about the product?
I use this platform to manage traffic within a creative agency. I particularly appreciate the speed with which I can adjust the mapping of projects for talents, as well as the ease of adding new projects. The shortcuts are also very practical and save me time.
The reporting function is another asset: it allows me to easily access the necessary data to properly inform the team, make forecasts, and conduct analyses.
I use the platform daily, often several times a day.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I think about is that it is not used in the same way by everyone at LG2 and it is not connected to our time management platform.
I know we are looking to change how we will use Float in 2026, stay tuned!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A real view of my team's talent bandwidth, easy to adjust, it becomes my source of truth and the tool I use to lead all assignment discussions and decisions.
Intuitive Desktop Experience, But Mobile Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and intuitive interface on the regular website platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the mobile site has room for improvement. There isn't much you can do from a mobile device apart from browsing the schedule, and even that isn't very user-friendly. Searching is not straightforward, and if you have editing rights, it can get confusing—it's easy to accidentally trigger edit mode when you're just trying to navigate. Overall, searching and filtering on mobile are quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool for managing our 80+ staff schedules in one easy platform.
Account director at creative agency
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use, making it simple to quickly block out time and adjust dates and hours as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's become more difficult for me to sort items or set up the custom views I require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very helpful to be able to quickly view availability, time off, and ongoing projects throughout the studio.
Streamlined Resource Allocation with User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I find Float incredibly user-friendly, with a very clear interface that simplifies project planning. The setup process was very straightforward, which made the transition to using Float smooth and efficient. I love how Float allows us to allocate staff resources effectively, providing us with a clear picture of what people should be working on and where they are needed. This capability enables us to decide on taking more projects with confidence, knowing we have the resources scheduled adequately. The drag-and-drop feature is extremely useful for moving projects around, making scheduling simple and intuitive. I also appreciate the color-coding system, which adds clarity and ease in tracking and managing resources. The platform is affordable and easy for anyone to pick up, fulfilling our essential planning needs very effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I never use the project timeline feature because it doesn't really suit my needs; it doesn't work very well for my purposes. There's sometimes a little too much inflow, and I don't use it to schedule out a project and tasks since I really just use it to allocate resources. A more focused view that allows monitoring of what large projects people are working on would be great, as my projects are usually long and I prefer to let project managers handle the specifics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps us allocate staff resources efficiently, allowing us to confidently say yes to more projects. It enhances project planning with a clear, user-friendly interface and straightforward setup, improving our resource management and project confidence.
Shareable Schedules on mobile app with good filters and grouping of teams
What do you like best about the product?
easily manipulatable, shareable schedule with a clean mobile user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
gets a little wonky when one person creates a project and another person goes to edit it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
primary utility is a single source of 'truth' for the team's schedule where everyone can see who is deployed to which project on which day.
Easy Event Management, But Needs Overnight Event Support
What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy float makes it to manage our events and assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very finicky and events can easily be deleted from schedules. There is also no feature to include overnight events, which is our biggest frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float allows us to assign courses to instructors, ensuring they are aware of what they are teaching as well as when and where their classes will take place.
Float Revolutionized Our Resourcing
What do you like best about the product?
Float has changed the way we approach resourcing and track our teams on projects, how we report to clients, and how we understand and manage the time spent on each project. Now Float is open on my frequent access tabs of my browser on my work computers
What do you dislike about the product?
We liked Float so much that we wanted to connect it more to our processes and tools, but email notifications are limited, and there are no webhook options for integrating custom notification services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helped us improve the resourcing process, how we track resources on projects, and how we report to clients.
Great for Planning, But Project Names Get Cut Off
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see my week and month
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you can't see the full project name
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resourcing is our biggest thing and it helps a ton
Filtering Collaborators and Projects: An Essential Asset

The possibility to filter on collaborators and/or projects
What do you dislike about the product?
The status of a collaborator is not sufficiently visible, and often requires reloading the page to see the changes associated with the statuses appear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows tracking week by week the booking of consultants on the associated projects.
