Manage my team's timelines and schedule projects. Its easy to use and nice to look at.
What do you like best about the product?
The drag-and-drop aspect of the platform is really great. As well as the keyboard shortcuts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting specific times can often be frustrating, as it tries to predict the end date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All projects are sold in units of time, so being able to accurately plan out these projects down to the minute is very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Float makes it very easy to manage the agency's production schedules. Team timesheets are as simple as can be compared to some other solutions! A real time-saver for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say that the only problem with Float is that it can't export a schedule simply and in a way that a client can understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The timesheet is very easy for the team members. They pratically only have to click a button to timesheet their work.

Great to keeping tracking of upcoming work schedules across a variety of teams. It is also easy to use and to teach to new staff.

It can sometimes look a bit cluttered / chaotic.

Interface and usability. It's very clean and easy to use - and cross-user functionality has been worknig really well for our team

hours allocation. I'd like to be able to input a total hours allocation to a team member and then distrbute across a project duration

Float allows a quick visualization of the employees workload and modifying tasks is very intuitive and practical.
Also, the possibility of creating a project template saves me time when adding a new project.

I was never able to open the generated report files properly on Excel.

It allows me to forecast when an employee is going to be overloaded, avoiding burnouts and better distributing the work between the team.

Float is really great for scheduling work for the whole team.
The reports are also very clear, precise and informative.

Task management can be a bit fiddly and having multiple ways to define the same data (eg. rate) can be misleading and sometimes makes it hard to have a clear view from when the information come from.
