Float is great, simple and uncluttered
What do you like best about the product?
It's uncluttered like the alternatives that I tried. It's perfect for I need, which is a place to schedule jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything at all about Float.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I struggle with keeping trackof what jobs need doing and when. Float allows me to schedule jobs, in a really simple and clear way.

Reliable, user-friendly, and useful
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Float is that it makes it extremely easy to view your schedule for the current week and upcoming time period. The colour codes that can be used for different projects and tasks makes it easier to quickly glance and get an idea of what you're working on and for how long.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many issues with Float. The only thing I would improve is that it is slightly difficult to find other users that are working alongside you on the same projects or tasks. This requires the use of the filters. It would be a lot easier if you could do it directly by looking at a project/task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float for us is helping the team view and manage their work. We can use Float to easily track what projects and tasks we have been assigned and how long we have to work on it for.
A sane resource management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and how easy it it to get a glimpse of company resource capacity. Managing resources and seeing how other colleagues are provisioned on other projects is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Calendar integration is a bity noisy (Outlook)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to manage internal resources and budget work capacity appropriately. Also enables ut to plan for project as well as prospective prospects that are in our sales pipeline.

Colourful, easy to use, easy to understand. It was pretty seamless adding it to our workflow and has made scheduling work a lot easier!

What do you dislike about the product?
A bit finicky - adding in tasks has become a little more difficult but not to the point of thinking about not using it. Reporting could be a smoother process, but nothing major!

Knowing what to work on, scheduling work, and reporting.
If you are looking for a resourceplanning tool without to much bloat functionalities: this is it!
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Float for almost a half year now. We are very happy with how fluently it works. It distinguishes itself from other tools because it it not trying to be everything you might ever need. Yes, having all in one spot is sometimes handy, but not always. I you just need a handy tool that allows to do resourceplanning, have a clear resource and project overview and add some basic tasks, than this it it!
The only feature that would make it even more perfect is if we could give taks our own progress labels.

Great tool for a law firm

Float is one of the apps I've used for time tracking because it's very important in a law firm, from a user's perspective it's a great app

I don't have anything specific, but sometimes there are bugs, usually resolved

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Float app for a few months and I am very impressed with its features and functionality. Float app is a great tool for managing cash flow and resource planning. It has a simple and intuitive interface that allows me to easily schedule tasks, track time, and monitor project budgets.

I have not found anything that I dislike about the Float app so far.

Easy Client Management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule and log hours per specific client is essential for proper time management and for ensuring that clients aren't over or under serviced. The interface is easy to navigate, and the colour scheme makes it really easy to distinguish tasks. I really like being to move tasks around simply by clicking and dragging. Overall, an easy to use interface that has become essential to my Agency.
What do you dislike about the product?
When dealing with a lot of colleagues and a lot of clients, sometimes its difficult to distinguish hours logged per client per user or overall hours logged vs hours scheduled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We charge clients by the hour. However, it was difficult to keep an accurate log of hours serviced per each client as the month went on or as certain tasks arose. Float makes it very easy to schedule the correct number of hours per client into the calendar, and helps us ensure no client is ever serviced too much or not enough based on what they pay us. It also helps us to schedule our week most effectively, by blocking out chunks of time in the day to focus on specific tasks.
Float provides a tool to visualise team members' work load for easier management of resources.
What do you like best about the product?
Tiered access based on level in the company. Ease of use when allocating tasks and making modifucations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot condense everyone's schedule into one page for easier view. Sometimes the way how filter works is not very clear or intuitive, things get complicated when having multiple filters in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Fload, we can now see the tasks each person is working on with greater transparency. Can easily see who is busy and who is not. People would have clear direction of what tasks they will be doing.
