Very efficient and easy to navigate scheduling platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and interpretation as well as its seamless integration with Workflow Max
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a great deal. The costs ofadding additiponal staff are a little prohibitive.

Easy Planning and Project Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
inputting time and allocations is very easy and quick which is important, if it took too long it would be worthless
What do you dislike about the product?
could use some more colour blocks but im clutching at straws with this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
resourcing within our team is easy and transparent
Trying to review it as a regular user and not ux designer, haha.
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use. In our team, there's not a lot of people, so the scheduling is very convenient. Comparing to the competitors, Float has a positive benefit of using categories and different colors for the projects. Possibility to check completed tasks is a benefit, too. Visual design seems to be on point.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be really lovely to get an automatic color attachment for different category projects. And maybe adding a deadline to the project would be even more easier, it wouldn't require to re-check in Jira when scheduling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly I use it for many different initiative scheduling. As a designer I work with various stakeholders, so Float helps a lot. Earlier, I have used Google Sheets for that and oh boy. I guess, we can't even compare it, can we :) It looked a little overwhelming (maybe because I have ADHD), however, Float is one of my fav digital tools now.
Easy to use and hassle-free, a wonderful scheduling tool.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and quick to block out time, adjust on the fly, and see what others in our company have scheduled. This tool has definitely saved time and hassle for us and I couldn't imagine going back to our old system. Really wonderful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say the only downside is that sometimes you can too easily "resize" one of your scheduled items, so you just need to be careful when clicking around. I do wish daily totals were a bit easier to view from the main screen as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company used to use individual spreadsheets for each person. Now, all of the information is in one centralized place, it's easy to view and edit, and the flow of information about who's available to do more work is at our fingertips.
Float is ideal for keeping track of your time
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing all of your different projects in one place, being able to see what others are up to and ensuring others can see your capacity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if Float was integrated into your calendar so automatically took note of meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visually tracking time spent on various projects, and planning time in advance.
Great product for tracking time spent
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward to use for tracking hours worked each day. Great for reporting to my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. Perhaps an intiutive way to see missing time (per day instead of for the full week) when logging hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me keep track of my work and communicates this to my direct manager and company stakeholders.
Capacity tracking made easy
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and how quickly you can see a top-down view of your overall capacity and time management. Makes it simple to keep up with client allocation and assess hourly rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Was quite a steep learning curve initially, especially with reporting. But customer service was very helpful and helped us all learn what we needed in no time.

Float helps us see where our time is being spent and in turn where we can be more efficient. It's boosted our top-down clarity and made us communicate with clients more effectively.
Interactive and Understandable
What do you like best about the product?
Different Colour coding for each of the jobs helps me understand which manager the job is attached to so it is easier to connect with the appropriate manager when starting a new client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website crashes and I cannot open Float on Google Chrome. But other than that there are no other problems that I face with Float on a day to day use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clear understanding of the week to week responsiblilities which we have to do, and the clients which we will be working on. Helps me understand the team members that will be working with me as well.

When I use functions like add/split/delete, the cursor gets stuck

Ensuring studio people are being allocated jobs at the right times. It's helpful for me to see what I'm working on and when

Its helpful, user friendly and so easy to use. I like that I can see what others are doing and who is on the same job as me

Sometimes there are bugs when I scroll into the future weeks and it shifts who I am looking at, please fix

Can see who is booked on what job and for how long, so I can see how long i will be given to complete a project
