Exceptionally User-Friendly Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly and easy to understand

It takes lot of time to refresh and reload, this can be worked
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is useful for monitoring project budgets and keeping track of both scheduled and logged hours.
Effortless Scheduling and Team Coordination Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to schedule and block out the day, and it's also easy to keep track of everyone's schedules and see what has been completed. We can plan out a week's worth of work, and everything is straightforward to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the search functionality on the app quite frustrating. When I need to quickly look up a specific past issue and see who it was assigned to, there really isn’t an easy way to do it. The app also isn’t very beginner friendly. New users tend to have a lot of questions before they start feeling comfortable using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use Float as a resource management and work management tool. It allows us to monitor completed tasks, track what is still pending, and see which resources remain available for allocation. This makes scheduling our resources much easier. While the time tracking feature is useful, it isn't essential for us since we rely on other software for that purpose.
Solid Way to Look at the Time
What do you like best about the product?
Float is pretty easy to use. You can create different filters to manage your team workloads and see which groups are on projects at a given time, and for how long. It's something as a manager I frequently use to view where my team is allocated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integration aspects are difficult to understand, and even more so that they aren't visible to most users of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know where everyone is allocated and where the capacity lies for the future.
Efficient Project Tracking, But Needs Weekend Toggle Option
What do you like best about the product?
As an employee it's a quick and easy way for me to see what projects I'm allocated to. I can also look up what colleagues are working on so I know who to ask.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there's no option to toggle of saturdays and sundays from the view. That would reduce visual clutter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That I can see what project I'm allocated on and how much time to spend on it. That way I don't have to ask my manager and disturb them.
Intuitive and Customizable, But Project Setup Could Be Faster
What do you like best about the product?
It’s usability, being able to colour code and characterise all of our jobs
What do you dislike about the product?
Only minor however I feel creation of projects could be an quicker, like a quick setup from a template rather than having to respond to each query

Float is so easy and makes everything so clear for the schedule ahead. Also looks clean and presents well

Great Filtering Options, But Needs Easier Single-Day Availability View
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ways that you can filter by client, role, and person

I wish I could select just one day to review someone's availability more easily. Instead it asks if I want to add a milestone which is not helpful. At least for me.

Float is helping me see at a bird's eye view what my team has on their plate

Sometimes hard to plot/delete resource as it can be fiddly

the upsides to float that i really enjoyed were its dashboard and how it can display everyones schedules and you can go back and forwards in dates.

some of the project requirements are yet to be refined.

Great for Team Visibility, Needs More Detailed Task Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like I can see on what everyone/anyone is working on to ensure I am aware of their workflow and it easily flows into our system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a feature to add more specification on jobs and detailed tasks fucntion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float ensures `I am assigned work at all times and thus this ensures that I can fill my timesheets based on my work based on float.
