Visually Simple Interface That’s Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how visually simple the interface is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe when I have to refresh to see updates. It would be awesome if it synced with our timesheet app and auto populated our time for is to edit or adjust accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing what I am resourced to work on in the next few weeks.
Intuitive Scheduling, Real-Time Profitability Insights, and Fantastic Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like Float for its intuitiveness and how easy it is to use. It’s implementation is smooth; it's straightforward to add my schedule in the time-blocking section and quickly get a clear, visual view of what I have on for the day. It’s also simple to check what everyone else is working on throughout the day. It integrates well with our profitability program, which lets us see in real time how profitable certain projects are compared to others. I use it every day along with the rest of my team, and if any issues come up, customer support is fantastic at making sure they’re resolved promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Float’s least helpful feature is probably that, once items are synced from my calendar, they can’t be moved around within the schedule. Sometimes I want to place a timed meeting between two other untimed tasks to block out that time, but I can’t reposition the meeting if it’s stuck at the bottom of the day. Aside from that limitation, Float has been fantastic for my everyday use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float.com helps us manage team availability, project workloads, and upcoming deadlines in a clear, reliable way. It takes the guesswork out of scheduling by giving us an accurate view of who’s available, who’s at capacity, and what work is coming up next. As a result, we can spot potential bottlenecks earlier, avoid overbooking, and plan ahead with much more confidence. Overall, it leads to a smoother workflow and a better use of our team’s time.

The ease of use when modifying task assigned and the undo feature (cmd + z).

The link feature is something a bit confusing.

Love the Integrated Logged & Scheduled Time Feature

Love the ability to integrate loggin time and sheduled time

hm, wish it was easier to split and move allocated time

We had as eperate tool for time resuricing and then another for loggin time. But this has sorted and both are together
Easy Project Setup and Scheduling with Float
What do you like best about the product?
Float was easy to use, it was easy to add projects to the platform and schedule to people.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you had multiple users assigned to a task, if you needed to make an amendments to the booking for one user it would move the entire booking for everyone. It would be good if you could make the change for one or all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was good to see what team members have capacity and when project phases are coming to an end so you could ensure the team wouldn't be over scheduled and projects don't clash with one another.
Great Plan view and time-entry hotkeys, but milestones are hard to see
What do you like best about the product?
The Plan view, and the hotkeys for splitting/deleting time entries.

Sometimes using the hotkeys feels glitchy, and the visibility of milestones is too small.

Beautiful, Functional UI That Delivers
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very beautiful and functional.
The customer support is great. I've used it several times and I always get an answer.

What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not fully satisfied with the way projects are created. I use Templates to create projects, but I feel this workflow could be improved and made more streamlined. I also think the reports section needs improvement, especially in terms of flexibility for working with and analyzing the data. At the moment, I’m exporting the data to Excel so I can analyze it more quickly.

I use it to track working hours for our projects.
