Easy to set up and maintain
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to edit and set up projects.
Intuitive set up of recurring events.
User experience is good, as ability to view resourcing through different lenses is impactful.
Great visibility across shared resource pools when needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
No major flaws.
For what it costs, the limitations are quite easy to work around.
Forgetting to quite the 'Delete' button has caused some issues when editing in a hurry, but Ctrl+Z fixes almost all of these

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple resources working across multiple customers and work streams, so need to have an easy reference guide to minimise potential for error.
Consultants all have a clear view of their workloads and can raise alarms when customer demands change.

Super user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Float is really user friendly and easy to navigate. The colours are really distinctive and easy to read. I love the extra tags and statuses you can add to users as reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Float can lag when working and changing to quickly. I think there are still some bug fixes to be made when covering projects with time off, sometimes Float doesn't save changes and it reverts back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is quick and easy to move around, and everyone is able to view it. It allows a central space for resourcing projects and keeping client and account manager expectations in line.
Easy to use and learn
What do you like best about the product?
Float has been designed well to have a intuitive user interface which is easy it to pick up and learn. Additionally, it promotes a balance between home life and work life as time recording encourages me to to identify signs of overworking. Overall it helps create a healthier and happier work life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time recording in general is burdensome or very administrative. I try to record my time at the end of each week as a habit but I tend to forget. I alos receive several promotion emails from Float which is a bit annoying.

Time recording plays a major role in efficient time managent which is a critical aspect of productivity and success.

Tracking specific projects that may be recurring after a period of time - it's easy to have those details readily available,

Being able to visualize day-to-day activities and plan for long-term schedules

Not as flexible when trying to prioritize bookings. Have to come up with internal methods to solve for problem.

Tracking what bookings need to be completed in a day, which allows for easier monitoring of progress.

- Difficult to project time if projects are on hold
- Does not connect with other internal platforms like OpenAir to update timesheets

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to see when employees are available for temp help on specific days/weeks in advance. Helps to pre-plan staffing for projects not yet won and "hold" employees for them.

What do you like best about the product?
The resports are a great tool to use for budget forecasting. Working with float is great. Easy to get started and allows you and your team to communicate scheduling on multiple projects at once

I would love if it synced with other calendar platforms

Float helps our department look at budgeting for difference projects and how much time we would be spending for estimating assignmnents
im using it for tracking and managing my time used in all kinds of project, in my job

Flexibility to change our hour already scheduled. And log some more if the project was longer, or done quicker than scheduled time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe improve UI for creating and deleting some hours from the float. This means i can accidentally delete with double click because i choose to delete instead of add

In our job, we can check who is available at what time.
4 Weeks impression
What do you like best about the product?
Its fast and user friendly. team meetings go a lot faster now and we have more time to do actual work. One last feature is that make easy to coordinate work between teams in the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company accountan software is based on Deltek and we need to log time twice, one in float and one in deltek so it will be nice way for this 2 to interact or add a package for accounting.
