Kaltura, a great plataform to manage videos and more.
What do you like best about the product?
Kaltura has a lot of options to manage video; as a VoD solution you can manage assets in a easy way and get all the benefics of the plataform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics could be better. You have the essential info to make decisions about content, but if you need to do a deep follow of all content that you have as an overall manager, and you don't have skills in code and Apis, you will need extra help to get all data available in one report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kaltura helps us to have a video platform to host assets and be published on any institution's platform. At the same time, it allows us to automatize the flow of videos from zoom - Kaltura - Canvas so that the teachers can publish content directly in the course.

What do you like best about the product?
The Kaltura video platform provides an easy and seamless integration with our Moodle environment, we use and incorporate video into various activities on a daily basis to give users an interactive and engaging digital media experience.
The core tools and functionality take accessibility into account, with the captioning option being used on a large scale, the sharing and embedding capabilities also provide staff with various options when it comes to publishing.
The Kaltura Support platform provides a chat service that helps to resolve minor issues quickly without having to raise a ticket, this has been great for solving urgent staff or student issues quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some Kaltura videos behave differently across different devices and browsers. The hotspot function that can be used in media does not work properly on the iOS devices, so media creators need to take this into account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides one platform that can be used across our web integrations, virtual learning environments and for marketing, showing a consistent look and feel for users that access it. The option to distribute video across the globe with no restrictions is also a very useful for student recruitment.

What do you like best about the product?
The scaling, the speed, the possibility to store large amonuts of data in a time that is acceptable, and the possiblity to mange all vod in one panel, and assign collaborations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes the upload speed is not acceptable, sometimes the flow is interrupted,

Perfect video repository for the entire organization
What do you like best about the product?
The most concise educational tool I could have asked for when I first started, and I'm still using it more than a year and a half later to learn about how we speak to different parts of our audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part I've found is getting everyone in the company to use it and to understand what it is that Kaltura does. Too many people think we should just use our YouTube channel but they don't get how much more we can do with Kaltura.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding used to be so difficult especially with more remote employees coming online in recent years, but Kaltura makes it easy for folks to learn about the organization from top to bottom.

What do you like best about the product?
Kaltura MediaSpace is excellent for education institutions like ours because it gives us a secure youtube-like media repository. In addition to uploading existing content, there are tools that help us to capture content from computers and cameras. There is a lot of customization that is possible. The representative also listen to input and are very helpful when problems arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform used to experience a lot of interruptions and outages but now they are few and far between. I would like to see more improvement so that all the various components have close to 99.99% uptime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kaltura video cloud allows us to provide a consistent video environment for all faculty, students, and staff to move some lectures, trainings, and project submissions online. In particular, it allows faculty to capture lectures that students can view anytime and anywhere.
It has made managing our videos much easier for the instructor

How well it works with our learning management system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile recording solution could be better. The Mediaspace Go app doesn't have an option to record video, just upload.

The management of our videos for the instructors and also management of the rights to the videos.

takes a bit of configuration to set up, so not god for non-technical people

it is allowing us to share videos across platforms and also have a nextfilx style of content for our b2c
Helpful implementation into Brightspace LMS
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool that integrates well into Brightspace seamlessly with single sign on for all users. The implementation team is great and future customer care support is helpful. There is tons of access in the back end to edit video data, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are often 'access denied' issues that users have to troubleshoot because of the third party cookies. It usually is for the first time a user logs in, and although easy to troubleshoot it can be startling. Also the idea of the Management Console, Mediaspace and LMS framework can be confusing when starting out but after use and explanation, it is comprehendable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an educational institution with online courses, our instructors use kaltura for their synchronous sessions or even asynchronous if they want to record lessons for learners to watch later.

What do you like best about the product?
Kaltura video cloud is a video SaaS provider suitable for training our associates on various emerging technologies. Due to the current circumstances of adapting to the work-from-home culture, it's helpful to organize webinars for improving their skilling trajectory in recent trends. Surging demands for technical skills are growing at a fast pace, and it's essential to have an all-inclusive communication tool such as the Kaltura video cloud for enterprise skill training programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It offers asynchronus recording feature in which learners who aren't able to attend the learning program can obtain training luctures on-demand. Nothing in particular which could be mentioned as dislike about Kaltura video cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a training instructor in my organization for scheduling various training programs and courses in Amazon Web Services. I take up webinars and sessions to upskill our new joiners to our company. Kaltura Video Cloud is an agile & efficient learning hub for content collaboration & delivering a pleasant experience for freshers. Its one-click recording-to-viewing workflow features capture our API requests, and both Instructors and Learners can have live or recorded video assignments, presentations, and feedback discussions with the help of the Kaltura Video Cloud learning platform.
Quick and easy video capture
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy it was to record and integrate the video as a direct upload versus having to save it and upload it separately. Even some editing options available.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was confusing at first to try and figure out how to use the software correctly. I was trying to save the video for upload prior to just allowing the upload directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was for a school assignment, it was easily integrated into the school online classroom platform. It was great for being able to record and upload to both a library and to the professor.
