What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, the ui is easy to understand and makes navigation easy.
Kafka in general is super complex, have a dedicated broker is great.

Querying is awful. Query by partition is about the only thing that ever works for me, and it really isn't fast
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed kafka is perfect. Not having to deal with a lot of the hassle of hosting and maintaining infra is great.
Good Kafka resource, kind of expensive.

Their learning resources are great, but it all leads to buying Confluent for Kafka.
What do you dislike about the product?
But we're good engineers here. Do we really need to buy into all of it?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to get a changelog as a source of truth. Basically, what Ben Stopford calls turning the database inside out. But for now, I think we can do it ourselves.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluent kafka is best ever streaming platform exists till date and it has been upgrading the feature with most advance connectivity with very minimal of efforts. Kafka is best ever tool found till date
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is a demanding software, for the beginners to learn and explore it would need extra efforts to learn. The logs finding is not that easy to find for any sort of error. It would need much of improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End to end data support from Producer to consumer with the speed data transfer and multi connection without being configured individually. The data avaio can be set as per the requirements and it can have many options like redundency using replicas,

Definitely would recommend use of this for any streaming application user for the low latency and data loss between producer and consumer

More services, more features, more data instrumentation, use Confluent Platform is highly recommended because it is extremely valuable to have access to experts who know the most features about Apache kafka

What do you like best about the product?
Confluent Kafka Clients are the most easy to setup and with detailed documentation. You are almost certain to find the solution to the issues you would be facing while implementation through Confluent website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing of Confluent for managing Kafka is pretty high and it could be made better to include smaller organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Confluent Kafka clients extensively using Confluent hub to manage the data flow in and out of Apache Kafka to DBs, S3 etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Kafka as a product confluent provides the best cloud service, regular updates, multi-region clusters, auto data balancer. It has connectors where we can integrate multiple technologies.

There is no auto client failover on the multi-regional cluster, lack of server-level metric, the product should be cover its complete server resources monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consumer off-set management with confluent replicator we can sync offset over the cluster, also with auto data balancer partitions reassignment process is much easier.

Confluent is the one for the dedicated vendor, as we know that no one has an as far vision on kafka except Confluent.

It plays major role in B2B data supply to warehouse in real time . The CDC capability along with Avro helps in supporting real time big data cdc changes into warehouse .

I don't dislike anything in confluent. Rather they are working on optimization of CDC flow of data.

I am working on supply chain data and will work on other B2B also. The setting up of platform on cloud , Kafka is helping in data quality analysis.
