It helps in tracking software usage and identifying underutilized licenses, helping organizations save significantly.

Asset Manager's dream

  • August 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is highly innovative and helps bridge the gap between tracking spends or purchases and the actual deployments or installations carried out. It gives clear visibility into how resources are being used, making it easier to control costs and avoid wastage.

It is also an excellent choice for organizations looking to improve their asset management practices. By using this tool, teams can follow best practices, stay compliant, and ensure that every asset is tracked and utilized effectively. Overall, it’s a reliable and highly recommended solution for anyone in the asset management domain.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often is more accurate than SNOW, causing a variance in source of truth. Leadership has a tough time accepting this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexera One provides accuracy not found in most CMDBs

I am using Flexera One for a cloud spend optimization platform

  • August 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexera One is a complete SaaS solution including FinOps, SaaS Management and Asset Management. We use the FinOps module (CCO) and it provides a rich set of features (cost reporting, allocation, planning, optimization, etc) which help us to make cloud spend predictable, optimized and aligned with strategic business priorities. It is also very flexible as it provides a framework (policy framework) to implement custom automated jobs to address specific requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Flexera One. Of course the tool can be enhanced with more sophisticated features, but we see that the feature roadmap is quite rich and new features and new modules are added on regular basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexera One is providing me a complete solution to perform the main FinOps activities (cost allocation, reporting, chargeback, cost planning, anomaly detection, usage optimization, rate optimization, sustainability reporting, etc.)

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the ease of integration with AWS. The number of features for license compliance and cloud cost analytics is impressive. Customer support is excellent, and I use the platform with high frequency of use because it gives me clear visibility and control over assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ease of implementation could be better for complex environments, and some advanced features have a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexera One helps me manage software licenses, optimize cloud costs, and maintain compliance across multiple environments. It gives us a centralized view of IT assets, which improves decision-making and reduces unnecessary spend.

One Unified Platform for Agents, Beacons, APIs - with real and usable Data

  • August 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexera One gives us a centralized, consistent view of our IT environment, pulling data from multiple sources — agents, SCCM, vCenters, cloud platforms, APIs — and normalizing it through Technopedia. That combination of discovery + normalization + license intelligence allows us to work with reliable, actionable data, not just raw inventory.
The platform is easy to use once you're familiar with the basics, and Flexera’s team was very helpful from the start. Whenever we had questions or needed help, their support was quick and clear. We use Flexera One almost every day, especially for inventory tracking, license visibility, and working on integrations. It’s not just a reporting tool — it really helps us make better decisions in ITAM, SAM, and FinOps. And it's flexible enough to adapt to different environments, from on-prem to cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the tool is not very easy to use, especially for new people. Some parts are a little confusing at the beginning, and you need time or help to understand how to use everything. Also, when doing big imports or changes, sometimes the system takes a while to refresh or show the new data. And when something goes wrong, the error messages don’t always explain what happened, so it’s hard to know what to fix.
But in general, once it’s all working, it runs well and helps a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexera One helps us a lot with keeping everything organized. We work with many sources — SCCM, vCenters, cloud, CMDB — and Flexera helps to bring all that together in one place. The data gets normalized with Technopedia, so we can trust what we see. It also makes it easier to track licenses, usage, and inventory status without checking 10 different systems. I work with it almost every day for inventory, troubleshooting, and checking integration flows. It saves a lot of time and avoids mistakes when managing assets or planning license renewals.

Essential Platform for Optimizing Software Spend

  • August 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Flexera One is its flexibility. It allows you to customize policies, templates, and configurations based on your organization’s specific needs. This level of control makes it easier to align the platform with internal processes and compliance requirements.
Other things that I like about Flexera are-
High flexibility with customizable policies and templates

Seamless integration with Power BI for advanced custom reporting and analytics

Cost Optimization Dashboard provides clear, centralized insights into cloud and software spend

Enables proactive decision-making through data-driven insights
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve for new users

Some UI elements lack intuitiveness like few in dashboard view/ Budget vs Actual View

Report customization requires some technical knowledge or Power BI expertise
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Flexera One, we were using CloudHealth to manage cloud costs. While CloudHealth offered basic cloud cost visibility, it lacked the depth and flexibility we needed across cloud environments.

Now, we can:

Track cloud usage across the entire organization

Identify underutilized licenses to optimize spend

Create custom policies and reports using Power BI

Gain real-time insights via the Cost Optimization Dashboard

This has led to better governance, cost savings, and stronger alignment between IT and finance teams.

FlexeraOne is the best all around ITAM tool out there

  • August 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexera can show license information details about on-prem and cloud software, making the life of a SAM manager easier, rather than relying on many disparate resources. I use Flexera regularly and am working to get more and more software vendor information into Flexera, to make the lives of others a bit easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Flexera can take a while to integrate properly. Not all the connections can be done in the same manner, and the creation of custom licenses can take quite a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now our executive leadership can look at Flexera and our top software vendors, and understand how we are utilizing those software licenses, which equates to dollars well invested towards the revenue of the company, or identifies potential savings to be realized.

Comprehensive and User-Friendly IT Asset Management Solution

  • August 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexera One stands out for its ease of use and ease of implementation, which makes onboarding smooth even for large organizations. The number of features is impressive, covering everything from software asset management to cloud cost optimization. I particularly appreciate the ease of integration with other enterprise tools, which reduces manual effort and improves data accuracy. The customer support team is responsive and knowledgeable, ensuring quick resolution of issues. Overall, the platform provides actionable insights that help optimize costs and maintain compliance, making it a tool I use with high frequency of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, the number of features can feel overwhelming at first, and some advanced functionalities require a steep learning curve. The initial ease of implementation could be improved with more guided tutorials for complex integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexera One is helping us gain full visibility and control over our IT assets and cloud resources, which was previously fragmented across multiple systems. It solves critical issues like software license compliance, cloud cost optimization, and IT asset lifecycle management. By consolidating data into a single platform, it reduces compliance risks, prevents overspending, and improves decision-making. This has led to significant cost savings and better governance.
