Perfect web monitoring assistant
What do you like best about the product?
Wpm has the ability to analyze the transactions in a detail follow to monitor a application. Significantly used to test the performance of web applications. The ui is more easier and user friendly with makes the transactions recorder to be simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it may end up to error with application using cookies. Wpm requires improvements in deeps drive troubleshooting of code level monitoring. And bit expensive for the features provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we get the alert in increase in response time of transactions proactively helps to reduce major outages of the applications.

SolarWinds wpm
What do you like best about the product?
The transaction monitoring, response time of the web pages/servers. Gives best way to monitor whether the urls are up or down also at which step it's not working.
What do you dislike about the product?
The old wpm recorder was most convenient than the newer version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring URLs, analysing time responses and generating reports to track the history
Great tool for monitoring websites for outages
What do you like best about the product?
i like that I am able to monitor everything on my webpages for outages. Can setup to monitor clicks to make sure links navigate correctly, or even logins on pages to make sure you can login on your websites. You can also montior performance of web sites by monitoring loading times and setting threashholds. You can then setup so you get alerted via email or txt message to your phone if there is an issue. I have even went as far that when a page was down i wrote a script to restart the webpage services.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i like least about the web perforance monitor is it seems it is Internet Explorer based page setup in their tool so not everything loads correctly on some pages. To be honest i have only had this happen to one page i was testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to make sure my customers have the best experience on my web pages. I am also minimizing my down time on websites by knowing there are issues before our customers call in to let us know there are issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Solarwinds sells the licenses in bundles of monitoring we only use 5 monitoring licenses but you can do more if you need to break up your monitoring into what department fixes what so alerting works better

What do you like best about the product?
It shows what is the performance of your website by running a real time test from a system that it has been assigned to do test from.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very user friendly and a little hard to uderstand/use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
performance related issues like how much time it takes to load and its response time etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have multiple websites and people complain about its low response time and takes forever to load, test your website from different location to verify its performance.
Solar winds is great!
What do you like best about the product?
Network monitoring tools are really useful when setup is properly planned. We were blindly into solar winds and hoping our vendor would help us out which they did. It’s a very useful and robust product and gives you fault tolerance, packet inspection, hardware stats, performance date for alll of your nodes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don’t dislike anything about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obviously we’re able to monitor our network much more effentiently than before which is a life saver.
Solar Winds WPM for an e-commerce website
What do you like best about the product?
We are long time users of other solarwinds products and this one did not dissapoint. It is an excellent tool to monitor traffic on your website, it monitors transactions and you can group the by location, it also has all the standard monitoring features like response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a little bit hard to configure, there is not much online documentation for this toold.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring a mission critical website, the main online revenue channel for this company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should try to get all the knowledge first to configure this tool to maximize it's benefits.
Monitoring network servers within different sites.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how solarwinds can give specific times for network performance issues. Providing node details to help troubleshoot which specific node is related to the server at a specific site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not come across anything specific to not like, as solarwinds seems to be the best tool out for network monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our Noc team to isolate and contact the site administrator and or vendor to assist with a node issue. The benefits are a timely response and real time monitoring service.

Solarwinds is a perfect tool for performance monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
CPU, Memory, disk utilization. it also monitors Services and we can add customized services as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Disk Latency monitoring is missing. It would have helped us to isolate Disk performance issues

Disk Utilization, CPU and Memory performance identification based on threshold alerts
Great utility software for IT
What do you like best about the product?
With solarwinds you can manage your networks, remote access your customers open tickets and schedule repairs , maintenance etc

For me is a bit overpriced, besides that is an awesome tool

I would recommend solarwinds to any IT or network administrator

It is a very Useful tool for SaaS monitoring. It can monitor a singular website and load time metrics. The metrics are detailed and time stamped.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price for this product is a little steep.
