Solid Product
What do you like best about the product?
The depth of data you can put into the site information makes it easy to get a single pane of glass view while working on issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as feature rich as other products I've used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network and carrier monitoring for hundreds of sites worldwide.

One of the best Performance tool for packet
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is user friendly and extensive, it provides you all the necessary charts and graphs to monitor the performance and highlight packet glitches.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool needs to be more extensive in terms of packet switching technique with the advent of of VOIP monitoring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are analyzing the packet data and VOIP packets to identify any glitches and Quality of service. It provides detailed analysis of the grade of service & quality of service with respect to packet loss.

What do you like best about the product?
Its very simple to use and to configure. The interface is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its doesnt work well. We have a lot of "bugs".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve a monitoring problem of a customer. His conecction was bad and it not enought for the company. But after SolarWinds WPM it was solved.

SolarWinds WPM was used to optimize the company website and improve performance. We were able to hit our targets by deploying WPM agents at multiple sites and continuing to review the performance data.

A bit slow in fetching information, we have multiple servers but its hard to load info

Additional Utility Installation on Remote Server from where you want to run the transaction, if it would become a kind of agent which can be installed remotely without logging to the server then it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End User experience monitoring for the Website that client use's from their end location is now being monitored from there location itself instead of monitoring it locally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
WPM is a noce tool with less cost and easy to setup the monitoring. You can setup a kind of synthetic monitoring of a website from any location be it cloud, end customer premises or locally. Simple steps of recording make it more understanding about what you are actually trying to do with this tool.

WPM gives us great insight into the availability and performance of our websites ensuring high customer satisfaction. With the detailed statistics and history records, it helps you see why problems arose and how best to combat them. The built in alerting brings issues to our attention and helps us rectify them before the customer even realises there was a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
WPM's cost for multiple or larger websites which rely on more 'transactions' or locations can become expensive if websites are not generating income themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WPM helps to avoid downtime, keep customer satisfaction high and saves time diagnosing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If concerned over performance or availability for multiple or vital website then WPM can help. If you're not mangaing many sites or are not concerned to much about performance, then it's probably not going to be cost effective.

What do you like best about the product?
What we love with website performance monitor is the total peace of mind and the rounded monitoring that it covers. It's more than a tool to check if your site is up, it will inform you of performance issues and slow services. It gives you a far better picture of what your vistors are experiencing. The simple dashboard helps you navigate easily and highlight things that you would never know were going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though web performance monitor is packed with features for small businesses the price tag can be hefty to license. Though the features and alerting is worth the cost, someone running a couple of sites might not benefit it from it too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website Performance monitor continues to keep a great and smooth visitor experience, by highlighting issues for us to correct or maintain. It saves times checking and testing the site as this is exactly what it does for us. It saves us time troubleshooting by indicating problems that can be addressed immediately, without the diagnostics.
Best Product for Web Page and Real Time Performance Monitoring from End User Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
Recording of the entire transaction that is done by the user manually is a plus point since it gives admins the real picture how the monitoring is being done unlike other tools. Step by Step monitoring was really a nice idea developed by Solarwinds. You can put player in Cloud as well to see the performance of a website from cloud based infra that is really awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seperate Tool for one piece of monitoring is little costly , it will be great if some feature of WPM can be included in SAM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring Websites like Citrix, Business Apps from Ends User location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
WPM is an awesome piece of work specially when it comes to monitor Web Sites Availability and Its performance from a Far end user location. It gives you the right information about where is the issue lies when a Web Site is not accessible. Recording is played after a regular interval which ensures that monitoring of the website even before the end users knows about it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great to know that not only is our website up and functional but that it's performing to the best of its ability. WPA helps us keep track of potential issues and brings to our attention performance problems. The amalgamated dashboard helps us see issues at a glance rather than spending time searching for the issue.

It's a pricey product though worth it. Integration with other solarwinds products could be better.

Keeping our website performing at it optimal speed helps keep people our website. It gives customers confidence that we're a serious firm who care about our clients.
