What is most valuable?
I find the GUI to be good in Ubuntu Linux, and I appreciate the open SSH. The fact that it is free since it is open and open-source is why I appreciate it and feel it is secured. We have multiple different kinds of support related to Ubuntu Linux, including official support and other options.
I am currently using laptops, desktops, and servers, and Ubuntu Linux supports all these devices. If I need it for Raspberry Pi or something similar, I can download another Linux distribution.
Ubuntu Linux is scalable, especially for servers. We prefer using Ubuntu Linux Servers rather than Windows.
The biggest advantage of Ubuntu Linux for me is that it is open-source, secured, and scalable.
What needs improvement?
I was thinking that Ubuntu Linux and Windows would work on the same machine. With Windows 11, they came together, so it is a good thing. On the GUI, when I use SSH or PuTTY or what is called a console port to connect with the network devices or servers, it is somehow difficult compared with Windows. If it gets easier, then it will be great.

At this time, I have no issues with the stability of Ubuntu Linux.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
So far, I do not have any issues related to security in Ubuntu Linux. Whenever there is an update or whenever I install an application, I update it. Therefore, I do not have any significant issues with the Ubuntu Server.

Setting up Ubuntu Linux is easy for me. It takes just 10 minutes.

It is really hard to think of specific benefits in Ubuntu Linux that are not available in Windows at this time. However, on the security side, Ubuntu Linux is more secured.
At this time, we do not purchase anything related to Ubuntu Linux Server through AWS Marketplace.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a user-friendly and cost-effective operating system. We regularly receive security updates, and it is straightforward to manage. I find that Ubuntu strikes an excellent balance between usability and performance. One aspect I particularly appreciate is how simple it is to set up development environments for Python, Docker, and web servers. The regular LTS updates also contribute to its reliability for long-term use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu is a solid operating system, but it can be a bit daunting for newcomers at first. You need to be ready to invest some time in learning the essential commands. I appreciate Ubuntu’s performance overall, yet when I began using it, I struggled with certain features that required terminal use. After you become familiar with it, things get easier, but the initial setup can definitely be confusing for those just starting out.

Ubuntu has been instrumental in supporting my software development work. It has enabled me to learn Linux and enhance my technical skills. Using Ubuntu on a daily basis has made me more confident with system administration and command-line tools, which has positively impacted my career growth and improved my problem-solving skills.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is how seamlessly everything functions. From the effortless installation process to being able to locate and install any software I need with a single command, Ubuntu allows me to dive right into my work. I rely on it daily, and its stability—particularly in the Long-Term Support (LTS) releases—has been consistently dependable. The community support is also outstanding; whenever I encounter an issue, a quick search on Ask Ubuntu has always provided a solution within minutes. For developers, it's an ideal, hassle-free operating system.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest challenge is the absence of native support for some industry-standard software. Ubuntu is fantastic for development, but when I need to work in creative or business environments, I run into obstacles. There’s no official Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office available. Although open-source alternatives are fairly good, they don’t always serve as perfect replacements, particularly when collaborating with teams who rely heavily on Photoshop or Excel. This situation often forces me to use web apps or awkward workarounds, disrupting what would otherwise be a smooth workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the greatest advantage of Ubuntu is how it eliminates the friction between development and deployment. Previously, I would spend countless hours troubleshooting issues that only surfaced when my code, developed on a different operating system, was deployed to a production Linux server. By switching to Ubuntu for local development, I no longer encounter those types of problems. My workflow has become much faster and significantly more predictable.

I can set up a new server or test machine on any available hardware, entirely free of charge. Reliable, Secure and Developer-Friendly OS
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the most stable and user-friendly Linux distributions I have used. It offers excellent community support, frequent updates, and robust security features. The package manager (APT) makes installing and updating software a seamless experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some proprietary software and drivers need to be set up manually. Additionally, the system tends to use a bit more resources compared to lighter Linux distributions.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is my go to OS for everything I can. There is nothing you cant add as a feature or integrate with just about anything you want. I run a number of Ubuntu systems daily for web services, databases, even just desktop services! Its so easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu is great but you have to learn how to use it, both desktop and server versions if you are not use to Linux. Much better than it was but maintaining updates on third party systems can be a pain
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its open source licence keeps our costs down when selling cloud systems for customers or even running it as a desktop. We have it running for Discord bots, digital display systems, and web servers. In the business we are running the ubuntu server version, hosting in AZURE to run our digital display system for menu screens.

Snap is not that efficient as a package manager

What do you like best about the product?
We use Ubuntu for local development because it matches our server environment. Being a Linux based OS is the definitely the best part about Ubuntu. I also love the new improvements with taking screenshot that allows me to take screenshot of part of the screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Processes hang and I have to restart to continue working.

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, the most noticeable ease in Ubuntu is its UI navigation and appearance. I feel that its interface is clean and simple. Installing it is also not difficult, making it friendly for new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, just a few minor things, like the lack of customization in some parts of the UI, which I think is slightly behind its competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that is solved by using Ubuntu is the ease of the environment, which is of course well-integrated with various Linux tools. Deployment, development, and coding are much easier to do on Linux with Ubuntu.

It is a open source operating system and not including any Cost. It has lots of features. It is secure OS as compare with other Operating systems. I can use this personally it is easy to use and it is easy to customize we can edit it according to the need. High community support with plenty of videos, forums and repository. Some Software aren't working in Ubuntu and Command line knowledge is important in ubuntu if don't have knowledge it might be tough. driver and gaming support is not good as windows OS.

It is Linux based open source Operating system we can use this OS free to use and more secure OS and that's why many peoples use this in their PC & laptops. If Having command line knowledge it is very good OS to use. It is secure to use and provides stable and fast. I can run my programs and use linux in this very easily.
