Ubuntu Desktop - Perhaps the Best Linux
What do you like best about the product?
The most important aspect is that Ubuntu is free. It is a developer's most delightful OS, it is really developer-friendly. It is one of the OS you can easily customize to your taste.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu is interesting to use, but i would say that it is not software-friendly to some popular applications like Microsoft Office, and even Adobe products like photoshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apart from from its ease of use and simplicity, Ubuntu Desktop is virus free. Now that has solved the problem of buying software to combat viruses, trojans, malwares and all the like. For any business that is a great plus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are going to use any Linux based Operating system use an Ubuntu Desktop.
Interactive and Easy GUI with Great Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
The Efficiency and Speed, even on low configuration hardware, GUI as well as TUI both works fantastic. Very Lightweight, Easy to Install and use OS system for Low configuration systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it lags and closes cache programs, I don't know if it's a hardware problem but I face issues with memory storage and I am not able to run too many applications simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I am working with a non-profit organization working for under-privileged girl students, We are not able to afford MacOS or Win OS, Hence, It's providing us more user-friendly, easy to use, interactive UI for Students to learn upon.

Ubuntu is one of the most secure platform out there and it is exciting to learn new things about this

Being a windows competitor ubuntu sure has lived up.to the challenge but comes with its own flaws like the ui sometimes isnt very good to use and some things are limited

What do you like best about the product?
It has a great facility like easy to use and flexible, which provides long-term support for the OS, provides a stable support system for the long term. It provides very secure environment .
What do you dislike about the product?
This software has to install manually, which means one must have good knowledge about the installation process clearly before installation. It doesn't have good graphic quality which becomes heard for new games.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Actually, our work is based on financial systems which need great support in terms of security which is provided by this OS. so we used it for customer information processing.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customise, ubuntu gives you the power to customise the os to a large extent, also it manages resources very efficiently compared to other os which results in faster performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app store, the app store does not have the most commonly used applications like edge, teamviewer also updating the already installed app is a very painful and long process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better resource utilisation helps me to do multitasking very efficiently. I can run more number of apps very smoothly on ubuntu as compared to other os with same device specification.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Desktop is easy to install and there is a lot of documentation available on how to work with this operating system if you are new to it. It is a lightweight operating system in comparison to others out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features provided by Ubuntu can be difficult to understand or work with if you do not have a good idea of what it is. While it might be good for open source development, some basic tasks using text editors seem difficult to use or install (since it is not in-built app).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The latest version of Ubuntu introduces several new features that optimize multitasking in Ubuntu Desktop. Before this version, multitasking didn't seem that efficient in comparison to other operating systems out there. However, with this new feature, we can control the number of active workspaces and organize the tabs more neatly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are an administrator or an open-source developer, then Ubuntu Desktop is one of the most reliable, manageable and easy operating software to use.

In Ubuntu there are number of features which I like most, I am explaining few

If we talk about dislike of ubuntu.
- Ubuntu has less user experience (quite difficult for beginners )
- UI is not so adaptive
- Manage files in ubuntu is quite difficult compared to other OS

With Ubuntu Desktop there are many problems resolved, I highlighting few
- FREE (As it's open-source and free, the Most used OS is officially in the corporate office)
- We do not worry about anti-virus for making things secure, Ubuntu is too much secure than other OS.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Server is perfect for all build, request and request web and application designs.
Protection by data encryption, easy installation and adding applications from repositories.

Focus legacy applications and data redundancy are difficult to configure.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use as compared to managing things using a terminal window. like managing partitions, monitoring the system usage, processes, RAM, etc. It has a feature called "rxdp" which we use for desktop remote from other OS some of the time to work with. I think it's a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hangs up, stuck for some time, but can be solved after updating some libraries. It does not have a friendly partition system like Windows has. We connect to desktops via Putty to resolve black screen issues that arise from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a developer. We mostly develop programmes that Windows does not support. It takes a long time to install things in Windows, so it's easy to install libraries for Python development in Ubuntu. We discovered that most of the solutions we liked were available for Linux, so we use it.
Most beautiful developer experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity and stability of Ubuntu OS, as the ability to customize per my personal needs, allows me to create a perfect dev environment for my day-to-day work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides of using Ubuntu are long-gone, in the past I used to have issues with attaching devices via Bluetooth and some random internal errors, but a few versions ago it all became past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu is reviving some of my older laptops, beside it is used as the top preference OS in my office. Any new developer is suggested to start with Ubuntu, as it increases their performance.

Apart from being a free and open-source OS, Ubuntu is highly customizable and there is a bunch of apps made for Ubuntu that can cover every user's needs.
