Using Ubuntu Desktop & Ubuntu Server since 2014, wonderful destros
What do you like best about the product?
The Ubuntu Desktop is very easy to use. Graphics, Networking, and other utilities are awesome.

For new persons, little hard to work with

I am working as a professional web programmer by writing code, testing my applications, and more. the efficiency of the OS is very fast and this is the reason I love to use Ubuntu.

Most of the applications required to run with official work, as a programmer or DBA etc are free of cost, this is why I love to use it without paying a pinny...
Beginner Friendly who come from windows background, Linux based operating system.
What do you like best about the product?
I Love to type than using a mouse. I get all that I want, It is a powerfull operation system and fully customizable, you can modify it the way you want, from theme customization to grub modification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you find it hard to resolve any problem, like a wifi adapter not found or a screen resolution issue due to a video adapter not found. You need deeper knowledge to understand and resolve this type of issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Python developer, and Python works well with Ubuntu as compared to windows. it utilizes less resource, For IT guy this operating is best because you will get all thing you want. every software, libraries or thing used in programming is well supported.

What do you like best about the product?
It is open-source and has an extensive community. No need to purchase antivirus. Graphics are very cool and more user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
Not Supporting old machine. Sometime drivers not works on old machines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for my software development purpose, most of the software available for this.

It is a very useful platform, and it is open source should try it. In software company, it is very useful. Opensource and support all required software.

What do you like best about the product?
I don't think anything could be better than being open source and ease of use for an Operating System. It easily beats all other OS out there and stands on top all alone. The number of updates you get is undoubtedly an advantage, and your choice to update to a newer version is simply amazing. The security it provides to me as a user is again an added advantage, and the ease of customization would appeal to any user too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more and more updates you keep getting on Ubuntu, it might feel like an advantage, but sometimes these updates aren't adequately tested, and you might end up getting some issues on your system, which doesn't do good to any of the users. This is why you might consider windows or other operating systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Ubuntu for a long time. Not really solving any business problems, but personally, I have been able to avoid unnecessary issues that I might run into using other OS, and the need to update when wanted saves time and energy. Also, the pleasant UI is a treat to my eyes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering Ubuntu, make sure you update your system only when you feel that an update might have been tested by the community because no one would want to run into unsolvable issues and then regret later.
Other than that, it is a very flexible OS and can easily be your best OS.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the facility of installation, the installer is guided step by step and I could follow anyone. Another crucial aspect when talking about an operating system for servers is Robustez, usually do not produce problems with this aspect.
Another of the great advantages is the large application base available. In addition Ubuntu Server is a very popular operating system, so there are manuals of all kinds.

At the moment I have not found any considerable disadvantage.

Although many people do not like, Ubuntu Server is very good as a production server. I think it is ideal for deploying services such as mail, cloud storage or web server of a small business.

For normal users which are not technically exposed its not good as its not much of user friendly. GUi is not that good here.

Remotely building the complete android build and do all development easily.

My email server is running on ubuntu. It's been 7 years and still running. Never doubt patches and updates, because they will be provided, always.
My application Server is running on ubuntu as well. Database operational is without a hitch. It's been 4 years and still running.

Realtime Usage of Ubuntu Flavour
What do you like best about the product?
The Ubuntu 18.04 version has very good security capabilities along with good features and up to date required packages for building required roles and customizing configurations and we can easily configure Ansible, Terraform, MongoDB, KairosDB, Cassandra DB etc with this flavour. I really like this version long term support version of Ubuntu 18.04

compatability with other flavours of linux like RHEL, CENTOS versions

we can quickly establish an ssh session on running ubuntu operating system where we can configured almost all linux related softwares with this flavour
