Awesome Linux based operating system that I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a open source operating system so it is free to use. It is very easy to install and setup . It is Linux based operating system which makes it more secure for our data saved in it. It is so easy to use that before starting to use it I don't need any learning about how to use this operating system. Best part of this operating system is that I can change it as per my requirements by changing its user interface . It is a perfect operating system for any software developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike in this operating system as it's interface is so user friendly and interactive which makes my work more easier and it's software compatibility is also so good .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This operating system allows me to do my job with full potential as I can install any software that I want to make my work more effective. It is a light weight and easy to use operating system which is secured also which provide me the confidence that my data is safe and their is no leak of data . If any error occur in operating system I don't have to wait for the respond of customer service as I can personally fix it by getting information from open source. It's software compatibility is also very good that I can install any software without any problem . I make different types of tool using Ubuntu and they work very well. It's every update is so good which makes my work more easier . I use this operating system for my day to day life and for work life also.

Highly recommended to everyone . You can use this light weight operating system without any training before using it. It is a Linux based operating system with having great user friendly interface which will make your work more easier . You can install any software that you want to use in it.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu app manager have almost all applications for a developer use it also have terminal which makes all debugging stuff programming work application installation very quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ubuntu restart time is pretty higher than other OS.

Ubuntu helps my organization to work faster we use ubuntu to host our applications and it also helps our development easy and faster with it's super awesome performance

What do you like best about the product?
Less configuration to get started. Package management is good part ubuntu has given for end user.
User friendly in terms of UI and Command Line tooling. People with minimal technical background can get started easily. Performance wise faster than other Operating System. Consumes less hardware resources

What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface is not much sophisticated as needed. Legacy graphics engine can be changed with proprietary one. It would be useful to developer who mostly relie on graphics power.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently I am using it as my primary desktop. Even if I upgrade it with latest distribution still works the best possible way. As I am from IT background I am utilizing it for Development purpose. Software and Application development etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your from IT background or considering Web based product development or cloud based service provision. I would definitely recomment to use Ubuntu than any other operating system. It work nicely and will best fit your requirement.

It's simple and yet so powerful to help us developers write powerful code and the bash line interface makes it easier for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of support for some major softwares which run on Windows and Mac are not available on Ubuntu like Unity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were developing android applications and writing backend code.

Its good for development purposes but graphical tasks are not possible as many softwares are not supported.

Ubuntu is customizable from the moment you install it. It Can Be Updated Without Restarting the computer.

What do you like best about the product?
A few years back, when I started working as a software in my previously working organization. The team member said we are using ubuntu operating for the development because it is very fast and also error-free as well. Also, it has a very good update policy and plan. Unlike, other operating where update takes too much time and sometimes updates the software by the system itself without asking the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Ubuntu operating system is not for the beginners, which means you should have proper knowledge of this tool. Mainly, in Ubuntu almost for everything, we write commands by using the terminal.

Best operating system for running shell script commands.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In the Ubuntu environment you have written commands into the terminal by installing software and deleting software etc. This stuff quite tricky for the naive user. Due to the fact that, if someone's career just started and use the Ubuntu operating without any supervision then he might be facing some problem in the beginning. I am not saying it is impossible and just saying that for a naive user it is not a good operating system.

i used ubuntu for almost 4 years. from my perspective ubuntu is best among other distributions.

Mostly nothing, every this is fine for me.

I working as a security analyst so i need lots of scripts to use at the time of working. Ubuntu makes easy to use.

Nothing every features to users already exist and easy to use for new linux users.

Ubunto has wide range of software that includes LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, Transmission, and several lightweight games.. It has better os processing system and the application which easily grid or used virtualize processing . Best battery life.

Most of the application are not run in ubuntu. Users sometimes difficulties to operate it.

Every times of updation the processing was fast and every time something new was I see in it.secure bugs were now easy nd storage all files on cloud or backup were now easily maintain on cloud.
