Best solution for change management system - AlgoSec Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I like
1. All change requests can be taken for approval and configuration in a proper manner.
2. Change management systems can be audited and managed to mitigate faulty rules being deployed to the firewall.
3. Already configured change requests will be closed automatically where there are no human overheads to check on those.
4. Auto deployment feature is a good option where administrators can deploy rules from AlgoSec directly.
5. The AlgoSec platform is one of the best CMS for the network environment comparing other products where the configuration method is easy for administrators.
6. I am an engineer from an SI and configuring and managing AlgoSec is way better comparing other products in the market.

What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting and customization are a little difficult without proceeding with AlgoSec support.
This would be better to mitigate the challenges that could impact the system if an engineer does changes without any knowledge. Anyway, it would be better if an administrator has some method to troubleshoot up to a certain level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The access requirement analysis, firewall management, and firewall change reports can be exported from the AlgoSec ASA and Change management in proper manner between all the firewall across the network despite of the product via the AlgoSec workflow

What do you like best about the product?
Helps us control and automate our application and security policy and visibility. It brings the visibility we need for all of our public and private clouds, containers, and on-premises networks into one dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's delivered at an enterprise price point (but you get what you pay for).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security and application traffic flow visibility within a micro-segmented environment (spanning multiple technologies and vendors) is difficult using many other vendor specific approaches. AlgoSec sits across all of these platforms and provides a seamless level of visibility
Firewall review and change management
What do you like best about the product?
The network map feature where we can see all the connections and blocks.
Also the risk analysis feature is great for the Firewall cleanup, whihc gives visibiility of the firewalls.
Best thing is even the non technical person can use it.

What do you like best about the product?
as solution architect, I always recommend Algosec as technology for my customers. Algosec has brand value and best controls to protect against bad actors.

would like to see more offerings from algosec

It is a very well designed, useful tool, which makes it very attractive to the IT and Security team.

What do you like best about the product?
I am amazed how AlgoSec solutions are totally interoperable and also the ability of integration with other vendors' network installed base.

There nothing yet I dislike about AlgoSec solutions.

Making policy changing more easy and compliance part is amazing also the part where is shows the network topology of all the device in my environment is perfect!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far however it would be great to add more to integration to AlgoSec so that it can integrate will all the vendor every where also I believe Algosec should expand more in africa

Policy duplication, compliance report, change management, migration to cloud and it solve connectivity and the access to the application is more easy with Algosec

What do you like best about the product?
AlgoSec Firewall is very interesting product for security and zero toch. The tool can monitor network and security devices of our customers. AlgoSec also provides security devices to add, delete, modify the config. We can schedule the backup of devices and upgrade, migrated the devices. After several test and implementations this product is very user friendly and easy to operate.

maybe the complexity of configuration of certain capabilities and deployment in multi-vendor environment, changes validations may be long for certain environments. but in general excellent product, algosec is

As a customer,we can integrate AlgoSec with our actual IT Service Management Solution to have visibility in our environment and follow Itil best practices, is easy and simply but very useful.

The product is very functional. One of my favorite features is that it sets risky firewall rules. This helps us reduce riskly rules and tighten our security infrastructure
We don' t have any problems during and after the upgrade and we quickly find solutions to security vulnerabilities such as log4j.

What do you dislike about the product?
AlgoSec sometimes not being able to ssh to device when its disk is full. At the same time, it gives an error while receiving the report when disk is full. Should at least allow ssh.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlgoSec helped us clean and optimize firewall rules, offered a wide range of action recommendations. For example, by uncovering unused, duplicate, overlapping or expired rules, It has allowed us to consolidate and reorder rules and tighten “ANY” rules without any disruption.
