My experience with the product is that very easy to setup, upgrade and use.
What do you like best about the product?
AlgoSec is very helpful in optimizing our firewall rules and assisting with prioritizing the execution step by step processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, we only use one component of Algosec products so far we don't have any issues.

To monitor the firewall configuration and changes that team members do for auditing and optimization.

Algosec help me to analyze the Firewall policies and organize all of the rules. It´s perfect!

There is no feature that I dislike. Network Mapping is the best.

What do you dislike about the product?
So fare no bad experience, but it seems to be difficult to integrate multiple security vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More and more infrastructure is moving into cloud. The big amount of security rules can be dramatically reduced!

What do you like best about the product?
Algosec is not just a solution for a firewall. Because, firewall, data center switch, web proxy, load balancer etc. It can be integrated with many different systems. It is easy to use. The analysis reports it produces are very valuable and life-saving.
It scores according to both security, baseline and related regulation. It is also very important that there are many different regulation support such as PCI, SOC, ISO.

What do you dislike about the product?
Technically I like the product. However, I do not like the way of licensing products in the Turkish market. I think this is a very serious problem in terms of competition. I have stated this several times; but I guess it was ignored. Product licensing in the Turkish market is not annual like other products, you have to purchase at least 2 years. For example, this is not very true because the product should be purchased for 1 year. I agree, the product is a product that should be used for a long time; but the decision should be made by the person who will use the product, not the manufacturer. Another problem is that even if you only use this product for 1 firewall, they sell you licenses for at least 5 devices or 5 cluster devices. In other words, it's like taking a cow home instead of having to drink a glass of milk... This situation makes the brand lose a lot of business in terms of competition. In addition, the product is priced as a subscription model. I think it should be both a subscription and a perpetual model. I hope someone takes my advice into consideration.

Algosec identifying the issues or the risks and policy optimization, simplifies and automates network security policy management tat is very important for a ore agile and safer process

the Integration of Algosec with other security software tools it's quite complicated, as well as their profiles and internal security rules are a bit complicated to understand

for the analysis of the policies implemented and to generate more accurate network maps and provide us with visibility into the segmentation of the client's networks and validate compliance with security policies and best practices [PCI-DSS, ISO27001, etc. )

What do you like best about the product?
AlgoSec is very east to install and get up and running. I like that you can do all your firewall changes, even multiple vendors, from one console. The topology review comes in very handy for creating documentation. Compliance reporting is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind in things that need to be improved currently.

Management of multiple brands of Firewall in one console, making FW management more efficient.

Algosec - a trusted security solution
What do you like best about the product?
The integration that is available between so different solutions, like the integration that we can do with VMware NSX and Cisco ACI. In an audit perspective, it is also a fantastic solution, because you can give an overview to auditors without any difficulty, and without compromising the overall security.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have seen directly on projects that sometimes the integration is not working as expected, not so robust as expected, and needs extra development. Also the documentation can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, it can be the glue between solutions from multiple vendors, maintaining granularity between them. You can also manage security policies on a central place and of course, monitor all of them.

Firewall Analyzer is a great tool that simplifies the application discovery process and ruleset clean-up and Fireflow allows us to same a lot of time when changes are required, using zero-touch change management

Nothing to highlight, just working fine for us and our clients.

Firewall change management and policies clean-up is now more automated and simplified, allowing to same time when changes are required and ensuring that our team members stay focus on other network security activities.
