Mango has so much functionality in it - there's not much it can't do.

What do you like best about the product?
The scope of functionality is really huge, and there are a lot of platforms that don't match for featureset.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need to heavily customise the interface you might have some challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to get a community up and running quickly without having to reinvent the wheel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's got loads in there, just double check API requirements and customisation needs and you'll be fine.

What do you like best about the product?
Helpful support team, dependable product, works across platforms, facilitates communication across multiple teams and departments, has the ability to do lots of things for a company like Wikis, awards, events, polls, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some competitors have more advanced features and better design
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Realtime communication across a number of departments and a growing team. MangoApps has been helpful for this, it takes a little getting used to and there are some things we don't like but it has achieved the goal for us and we recommend them.

What do you like best about the product?
The granular access control for each different part of the site is nice as it allows different divisions to maintain their systems without needing to go through IT for everything and simplicity such that non-technical users rarely need help using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit slow to load even fairly simple pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After migrating from an intranet site hosted on a private network, MangoApps has made it far easier for roaming and mobile users to access site content without needing to connect to a VPN first, cutting down on the number of licenses needed for that.

What do you like best about the product?
MangoApps is easy to use, engaging, user-friendly, intuitive, and easy not navigate. It provides the perfect place for a collaborative work environment for a geographically diverse workforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process is a bit involved, but it takes time to get it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeing fewer emails, more collaboration, and stronger task management. MangoApps has created a central hub for our users to find and share the information they need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a way to drive your culture, connect your teams, and tailor communications, then MangoApps has you covered.

Great Intranet/team coordination tool

What do you like best about the product?
There is built in chat into the system along with screen sharing so I can walk someone through where to find something if they are having issues locating information on Mango Apps
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Active directory integration could use a little work. Currently you cannot use AD groups for security access to pages on Mango apps. You have to manually give permissions to each user that needs access to a page in the system. That makes for a lot of extra time when adding users to each page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to compile all 3 intranet systems into mangoapps as central location for data and communication within our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They are always improving their platform with new features coming out so it would be worth your time to look at a demo

What do you like best about the product?
user friendly, and easy to manage as administrator (via access/user monitoring), a funciton not always possibile
What do you dislike about the product?
some what slow, and copies other functions which microsoft sharepoint is starting to offer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
good social platform for business use, share personal groups for the workplace (soccer team, holidays, private marketplace)

but most importantly a sort of blackboard effect, where members of single groups can ask questions / track answers other time

good database for knowledge sharing

The announcements are great because you can modify them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions are difficult....like the screenshare, and the forms, and the projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
communications problems - MAngoapps is really good at announcements

Be sure to have a dedicated person to this as it needs some maintenance and tech savviness

What do you like best about the product?
Dynamic capabilities and posts from staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mimics Facebook or social media platform a bit too much at times; however, I do see this as a positive for some employees considering the popularity with social media outlets as forms of communication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to publish links for surveys that map directly to Smartsheet for data intake. In regards to benefits realized through MangoApps usage, one example is the employee of the month process or "Firestarter Award Nomination." This has evolved into an increased engagement for staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to review the features and complete any trainings as those will help when implementing the product.

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly easy to upload photos, files, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The forms are not great, and our firm was hoping to utilize the forms portion for many of our templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting employees at my firm.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a nice landing page for your employees, I would recommend using MangoApps. We love our homepage.

What do you like best about the product?
Activity from all groups / projects are collated in a single "inbox"
Also no additional cost when collaborating with external users.
What do you dislike about the product?
it has occasional performance degradation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intranet and collaboration with external party. its much simpler than Sharepoint.
