Comprehensive Intranet Platform

What do you like best about the product?
Where I think MangoApps really excels is in the ease with which users can share information in a clear and visually compelling way through its pages, posts, and wikis modules. The tracker module also offers a dynamic way to collect information both internally and externally for a variety of project purposes. MangoApps also strikes the right balance between the frenetic noise of contemporary platforms like Slack and the more boring, static HTML-based intranet platforms of yesteryear. Instead the flow of information is directed in more purposeful, if slower, pace, which allows users to absorb and easily find the information they need, when they need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications function is slightly over-engineered and has been a pain point for our newer users who opt-out entirely rather than invest the time it takes to get a fully customized notification experience. There are also little bumps and bugs throughout the system we run into on sporadic basis, however, I will compliment the dev team for resolving issues in a timely, well-organized way, and communicating proactively to set expectations on when things will be fixed and how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is still very low user adoption from our older users (meaning those who were with us from our launch), because our implementation was fairly quick and not as well coordinated as it should have been internally. I think the level of engagement needed to rollout was understated so we still fight the perception that the platform is "ok, but not a necessity" to those who are laggards.

On the flip side, we have seen a really great uptick since COVID-19 created a greater need for digital communications generally. That coupled with the continuous improvements on the platform, we have seen a great growth in engagement, better content from our users, and more investment from our leadership teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Clearly identify who your information stakeholders are within the organization and make sure they "buy in" to the work it will take to mount some baseline content to the site, so that the launch will provide a good initial value to the basic users. Admin level training for all these stakeholders and their teams is a MUST for a successful launch.

Engagement Galore, a Central Hub during a Divided World

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to connect with my coworkers and reach out to others quickly whether that be for help or to simply say hello. MangoApps has allowed for my company symplr to continue feeling connected despite being in a pandemic!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more flexibility when designing posts. I find that I am limited to the square box/grid ratios and I wish it were freer to design as if it were an open blank canvas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving user management problems in MangoApps I am able to create and delete new and past employees great. The benefit of that process is that I can keep the employee directory up to date.

Outstanding tool for connecting with colleagues

What do you like best about the product?
Although Mango Apps features numerous useful features, the opportunity it provides to easily share organizational news with our 2,600-plus colleagues in a social-media-like platform is what truly sets it apart. In addition, the customer service is consistently far above average.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting universal buy-in from our colleagues has been a struggle. Roughly half of them sign in with some degree of regularity, mostly to check the news feed -- which we updated multiple times a day as a "carrot" to keep our workforce coming back for more. But we're still trying to figure out how to win over the other half.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit has been the ability to keep our workforce updated in a timely fashion not just on day-to-day organizational news but also on emergency situations, such as when our organization was recently affected by Hurricane Ida. While many of our colleagues were without power for days, they could stay in touch with Mango apps.

As far as problem-solving, we've recently turned our attention to replacing our increasingly creaky, decade-old intranet with Mango, which -- when the project is completed -- will give our workforce the ability to access vital organizational information remotely, including policies, procedures, HR items, news updates and more.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for admins to build, update and maintain the site. It's a pretty intuitive interface, and easy to get the hang of it. We transitioned to Mango from an old Sharepoint site, and it is like night and day-- a whole new world!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the ability to integrate directly with Outlook for our corporate calendars. But Mango is continuously adding enhancements and features; it'll likely happen soon!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to transform our corporate intranet from a boring document depository into a social network in which our employees can connect, learn, and explore ... and also still easily access the documents they need.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. They have multiple tools built out that can be used immediately. The widgets that are available allow for quick site updates with minimal effort. Support is quick to respond and resolve. Our Success Manager is professional, follow-ups quickly, and takes the time for us to get familiar with the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system is robust so training is a must for employees not to get overwhelmed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are significantly cutting down on the number of informational emails being sent to our employees. We have integrated other systems into the tool, so it is becoming a one-stop-shop for the employees.

Great interface for team work

What do you like best about the product?
I like that mangoes app allows for employees to be in different locations and enables them to work. It is very versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of using mangoes apps are that it is a bit confusing to learn about at first and complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only issue that it is difficult to start learning ; however, once it is learned it is very user friendly and efficient

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the groups and projects that allow for easy communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I dislike is that there are a lot of limitations with adding on widgets and other programs.

We are solving a lot of communication issues that were hindering our work.

Best Software for Communication

What do you like best about the product?
It is perfect and easy to use compared to other softwares. Also, the service response from the support team is best. Fun extras to include in messages. Simple and functional interface which helps to use it for longer time. Also, enjoyed the navigation and design of the User Interface and User design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot say more about what I disliked, as all the things required are already available in the Application itself. One thing that is missing is the notification bell; other than that, I am delighted with the service it is providing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing much, but if it adds a notification bell to check all the notifications missed, it would be extraordinary to work with. Other than that, everything is best.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Indeed useful for the one finding the best out of a communication app.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is such a huge improvement!

With some of the modules, there is a lot of information. Sometimes, it can be information overload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We haven't touched the surface of all it can offer. We did a soft roll out of main pages &it was well received!
