- Error handling should be improvised for end users.

1. Getting started on designing and building pipelines is easier and faster
2. Need less in-depth knowledge of spark and other technology frameworks for a head start

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Lot of features under the hood are not easily configurable through the UI. (Example : Better debugging options, gems could offer more configuration options)
2. Although there are cool features in the UI, its not very intuitive. This can be improved. For example, the config and schema options could be more straightforward.
3. Need better User manual , to avoid constant engagement with the developers.

Prophecy is very flexible in converting the legacy ETLs into Spark and it's saving lot of manual hours that we need to put to get the job done

It gets slow sometimes and it takes sometime to get used to the tool

ETL Migration. Without this tool, we should have converted all the ETLs to Spark manually by spending lot of time. This tool did that job which saved lot of hours

Product is evolving which has minor bugs but their support team is helping to solve them quickly. Kudo's to strong support/field engineering team

I recently had the pleasure of using Prophecy and that left me into thoroughly impressed. It has elegant design and seamless functionality, everyday aspect of this product has been crafted with precision and care ensuring a unparralled user experience .
What do you dislike about the product?
The product has a lot of feature which sometimes take initial efforts to learn . Post that it is absolute breeze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migrating Abiniti Graphs were very difficult and time consuming. At a moment it almost looked like impossible to complete before due date. Using Prophecy we were able to achieve that.

Prophecy helps in designing data pipelines ,automatic code generation along with test cases. Git integration helps in code checkins.Overall it increases productivity of engineers .

Downtime and support all features like external jar udf's(java)

Not all gems are present, but because their customer support is excellent, they can provide gems within 2-3 working days.
While developing the ETL tool like this they need to think of different use case and make the tool compatible for different sets of data
