Simple to install and configure with any application.

What do you like best about the product?
First, you don't have to struggle trying to install on your PC multiple tools separately, you install only one great tool with less effort and saving time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets lagged and consumes too much memory and process from de CPU. You have to configure your local firewall, to the services can function correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With less effort, you can put online services easy and in a short time.

The best part is that it is th easy way to setup web server for php development.
It is a combination of Apache serve,php and MySQL.

The thing that I don't like is it does not work properly on 32 bit and 64 bit operating system.
Also you need to have a soundtechnical knowledge to setup the same.

So it helped me with my project where I was using php so I used xampp to connect php to a database.
It is easy to use though it require some technical knowledge while setting up.

It is all in one solution and time saving tool for Web development. It is open source hence makes flexible and easy to use and maintain.

UI needs to improve as it is difficult to configure. Apart from that everything is good.

Xampp a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
All configurations are in easy to use text files.the admin annotations are easy to change.databases are one stop set-up. Xampp for windows is a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the files are locked in windows. It has to be reinstalled, eh: Drupal with xampp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Files are locked out on desktop installations in windows. Drupal setup although easy makes it difficult from a standalone on prem installation.

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use and requires significantly less time to start the server and stop just by clicking the buttons. Folders and files are structured so correctly that they are accessible easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Port number is the main issue when another server uses the same port number as an oracle, where we must stop all the other servers' applications. Some time restart Xampp Server

Sure you can probably get the job done out of the box, but it just adds a layer of convenience.

Convenience. The XAMPP control panel brings the required levers and widgets into an accessible and convenient view.

For me, it is really not an application for corporate use but super convenient for the personal deployment of simple web applications.

Freedom in determining the capabilities of the machine that will be used to make all the systems I need. I can experiment with the settings that are most suitable for my needs, such as determining the most efficient specifications, security that is by the running system operations, and user handling capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires complex capabilities in the backend field to produce a good and efficient system. Security is one of the most crucial things if I don't have enough experience and skills.

By creating my server, I am not dependent on third-party rules and don't have to worry about the timeframe provided. I can also adjust server capabilities according to my financial capabilities.
