What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and very straightforward with the installation steps.
I like their support page for any query or clarification needed.

One must be very specific about the PHP version required for their project needs.

XAMPP installs all the PHP required features in one installation.
With a bundle package installation, one doesn't have to manually install every required feature.
It helps you access the logs if any error occurs in the project or during installation.

What do you like best about the product?
XAMPP helps web developers to create and test their programs on a local webserver. I am using the PHP framework Laravel. It does compare to its competitors by upgrading its server from time to time.
What do you dislike about the product?
XAMPP is difficult to configure as compared to WAMP Server. Everything is working perfectly. They should make its configuration easy. In the new release, they show improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XAMPP server is solving the problem by providing local webservers. By which the productivity is also increased and for the web testing you should not purchase a hosting server and it definitely provides benefits to your business.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple and easy-to-connect server software. It can work in all types of operating systems. It is free open-source software. It consists of Apache, MariaDB, FTP etc in a single software. It can work with many backend programming languages. It works very well with Phpmyadmin without any problem. It requires very fewer sources and can work in old hardware very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its interface is not so good, it requires many improvements in its interface. Sometimes it lags and crashes due to some technical problem in the software. In some systems it requires some changes in settings then it can work properly otherwise it does not connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used the XAMPP server as a local server to connect my frontend with the backend database, it worked fine compared to other software that I used. I have used it in many software.
xampp (Apache, MariaDB, PHP and Perl) is best for web development.

You can get it all in one package it is the best and most time-saving tool for a web developer mostly for the freshers when you are new to software field xampp is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I have found t yet in xampp to dislike i have worked on xampp on different platforms like Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) it works perfectly if I found will share definitely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have achieved lots of benefits in my 5 years small web development carrier. It has saved me a lot of time to develop an application and manage a database is very easy using PHPMyAdmin.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a PHP web developer and working on the windows 2019 or plus then xampp is a very very important helper for fast development and is easy to maintain and upload on the panel and if u are not working with windows then aso it is very helful tool.

It doesn't come any simpler than this for managing local databases.
What do you like best about the product?
This is effectively a one click setup, and the dashboard is completely intuitive. Just start the processes you wish to use and you are well on your way. I personally use this for my .NET Desktop apps that I create for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need to install IIS on your local machine, you will have to change the listening port for Apache as they conflict with each other (both using port 80). Other than that, it's a great and lightweight application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I experimented with various databases for my desktop applications, including Access, MSSQL, and even flat files. The easiest and fastest way for me to utilize my applications was to connect them to MySQL databases. Using XAMPP made this incredibly simple.
