Love snowflake
What do you like best about the product?
Columns and rows are very well set up. They are easy to read and understand. The gaps between each column and row are perfect we can say. Cannot think of anything that needs to be made better here
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data is not up to date. Would be useful to have the data to be updated instantaneously. Not sure if this is possible but it could be a good target for improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our software is integrated with other integration providers so we use Snowflake to check visits that are sent by the rostering system. Really helpful thank you very much

Snowflake gives us the ability to work across multiple tabs and queries.

It uses standard SQL, which is great because we don't have to learn a new language.
It provides great ease of access to different levels of users throughout the organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limitation with unstructured data.

Data engineering, data science, data lakes, data warehousing, data application development, and data sharing solutions all in one place.

Compared to alternative cloud stores, going from an on-premises relational DW to Snowflake is simple.

Consolidate your data sources
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake has allowed us to consolidate multiple data sources like application databases, product analytics, decision models etc., into one repository. The fetching of report becomes easy and does not strain our master setup
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. Works like a charm for our use cases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The single reference point for all data access. Snowflake has solved this problem and given us the ability to generate exhaustive reports without the hassle of downloading multiple reports and then stiching them
Awesome data warehouse tool with pretty good UI and decent python API
What do you like best about the product?
Snowsight, the new snowflake browser UI, is set up well for quickly drafting queries and has some helpful, albeit basic, visualization tools built in. The python connector API is pretty good too.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of irregularities in setting up the python connector on M1 macs, and some minor bugs in the snowsight ui (forgiveable since it's still pre-release IIUC)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drafting queries to pull data for our models, sharing data, data warehousing, and row-level security. It's an essential part of our organization's data engineering pipelines. Visualization tools allow for quickly sharing some high level summaries of our data.
Probably the best warehouse in the market. It is definitely a bit expensive though.

Governance is really straight forward and queries run very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive. No transparency on specs of warehouses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able (for the most part) to execute our queries very quickly and organize them well.

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is very modern cloud data warehouse which reduces the complexity of designing Analytical data solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake doesn't allow to share a database from one snowflake account to other account which has different cloud vendor and located at different region.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to design the data warehouse as per our business requirement and that too in very much feasible way and with many other features.
Good Database and Security
What do you like best about the product?
It has good security and also good integrations with several other tools. We used it with Holistics as an SQL extractor and it works great. Is very good at extracting data and very quick to show results.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience but I think is more of a company policy about security. It would be great if Snowflake has its data extractor or a SQL extractor, it would be very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is our current data warehouse for our app data. It also helps us to consolidate several datasets as our App, Enterprise Resource Planning and Customer Relationship Management.

What do you like best about the product?
What I liked the most was the possibility of building a data pipeline within the tool with the TASKS functions and the integrations with other services such as the AWS bucket

On the other hand, the tasks service was difficult to have an overview of the entire scenario, especially in execution logs

Snowflake is currently helping me with the centralization of my company's data and supporting the construction of the data platform in general.

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake has enabled the team to achieve new goals when it comes to data warehousing and querying data to draw insights. It has an easy-to-use and accessible interface.
Before switching to Snowflake, getting connections and data sanity was a challenge. Its pay per use model allows the optimise allocation and budgets and helps plan better.
It uses standard SQL which is used by most of the team members beforehand and documentation is readily available.

What do you dislike about the product?
While logging in using the single sign-on, sometimes it takes a high loading time to log in. Navigating across the previous ran queries under the history tab is a bit cumbersome. Not that great at managing unstructured data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake has helped the analyst team to get more efficient at storing as well as querying data. It is pretty easy to use and has a very small learning curve. It allows managing roles at different levels to allow customised data access to the wide userbase.
Game changer tool for data warehousing needs
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake allows aggregation of hundreds of databases across different clouds and platforms into one single data warehouse which helps provide customers visibility of all their data across all our products.
It is much more than a database in cloud with massive amounts of features and functionality offered. (high volume data storage and handling, quick response time)

What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating and querying unstructured data in snowflake is bit of a challenge.
Switching between the data can be made better and we have to save the query snippets for future usage as functionality to create a link for any specific query is not there. Rest everything looks great.

Getting data into Snowflake is extremely easy with fast API responses and scalable infra for data storage.
Its pay per use pricing model allows flexibility in terms of selecting the right package for the organisation and optimize for cost.
