Cloud Data Warehouse That Really Scales!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Snowflake makes managing big data so much easier. The queries run fast even with huge datasets. I can spin up compute resources as needed without waiting for IT. The interface is clean and easy to use and the way it separates storage and compute is really helpful for controlling costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model can be confusing at first. Some of the advanced features need extra learning and the documentation is detailed but not always easy to follow. Occasionally I have to double check query costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake has solved our slow reporting issues. We used to wait hours for big analytics queries. Now dashboards update quickly and the team can make decisions faster. It also simplifies data sharing across departments which helps collaboration and reduces errors.
Best tool for Data Warehousing
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake takes away the complexity of managing infrastructure and lets us focus purely on data. The separation of storage and compute means multiple teams can run queries without impacting each other’s performance. Its auto-scaling and pay-as-you-go model help control costs, and features like time travel, secure data sharing, and native integrations with BI/ETL tools make it a powerful platform. The ease of use is a huge upside—no database tuning or maintenance overhead required.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Snowflake is extremely powerful, pricing can become tricky to estimate when multiple teams are running large compute-heavy queries, especially without strict governance. The learning curve for cost optimization and warehouse sizing can be steep. Additionally, customer support response times could be faster, and some advanced features may require higher-tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake is helping us centralize all our data in one place, eliminating the silos we had across different systems. With its scalability and separation of compute from storage, we no longer worry about performance drops when multiple teams run queries at the same time. Features like secure data sharing and time travel have simplified collaboration and reduced operational risks. Overall, it has improved the speed of analytics, lowered infrastructure maintenance efforts, and enabled faster, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Highly Resourceful and "Developer" Friendly Cloud Database
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we don't have to learn separate query language for Snowflake. If you know SQL you are good to go. The AI agent that simplifies data literacy, especially useful for familiarizing with new data warehouses. The flexibility to switch between data warehouses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to download the results in excel file to copy the column names. Especially for query results that have more than 100k rows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The cloud database saves so much physical space for databases. Snowflake is certainly recommended for storage optimization. The new AI features shows that Snowflake is adapting to the new industry trends. However, that is one space that we are still exploring.
Good experience managing data with Snowflake!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that storing and querying large datasets feels simple here. The performance is strong even when we scale up and it removes the heavy work of managing servers. The integration with BI tools is smooth which helps in analysis without wasting time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be unpredictable at times since usage affects cost quickly. The UI could be more intuitive for new users and some query monitoring features feel limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mainly for centralizing data from different platforms. It has reduced delays in reporting and made it easier to collaborate across teams. Queries that took long on older systems now run faster which directly helps in making timely decisions.
Best platform for storing and analyzing large amount of data
What do you like best about the product?
Very fast querying with huge datasets. Storage and Compute also independent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its Dependent on cloud availability like if any cloud servers are down then snowflake also affected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't need hardware for storing data. Also it is easy to use.
A good DBMS and Query tool for Analysts
What do you like best about the product?
1. Super Fast for large datasets even with a XS warehouse
2. Optimized Queries
3. Cortex Feature allows easy Querying
2. Optimized Queries
3. Cortex Feature allows easy Querying
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Non OLTP
2. Doesn't show multiple outputs at once
2. Doesn't show multiple outputs at once
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Querying as an OLAP layer.
Powerful, Scalable, and Easy-to-Use Data Platform
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Snowflake is how quickly it made working with large datasets feel effortless. I’ve run queries on billions of rows and still got results in seconds. The way it separates storage and compute means I can scale up for heavy workloads without overpaying when things are quiet. The interface feels familiar for anyone who knows SQL. I also appreciate how easy it is to share data securely with partners without the usual back-and-forth of exporting files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge I’ve faced is keeping compute costs in check. If you’re not careful with warehouse sizes or forgetting to suspend them, the bill can surprise you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m currently using Snowflake as a central data warehouse while working with multiple datasets for proof-of-concepts (POCs) for my client. It allows me to quickly load, clean, and query large volumes of data without worrying about infrastructure setup or scaling. This flexibility helps me experiment with different data models and run complex queries efficiently, which speeds up POC delivery and decision-making for my client.
Snowflake
What do you like best about the product?
One thing I really appreciate about Snowflake is how hassle-free it makes data integration from all sorts of sources. I’ve worked with other data platforms before, and I remember how much time was wasted on ETL jobs and infrastructure management. With Snowflake, you can spin up resources quickly and just focus on writing queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user, I found Snowflake a bit confusing at first—especially the pricing model and setting up user roles. The interface is clean but can feel a little overwhelming when you're just getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake makes it way easier to bring together data from different places and work with it all in one spot. I don’t have to worry about setting up hardware or dealing with slow performance when more people are using it. It saves me time and lets me focus on actually analyzing data instead of spending hours just trying to get things to work.
Fast software to use
What do you like best about the product?
It is a fast-processing software compared with other one
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the user face can be improved a little bit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake processed data in a fast speed
Game-Changer for Data Warehousing and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Snowflake separates compute and storage, so we can scale them independently. It’s made handling unpredictable workloads so much more efficient and cost-effective. The performance is excellent — queries that used to take minutes now run in seconds. I also appreciate the straightforward SQL interface and the ease of sharing data securely across teams and partners. Overall, it’s just a powerful, user-friendly platform that’s dramatically improved our data operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Snowflake is incredibly powerful, its pricing model can be hard to predict at times, especially for teams without tight governance on compute usage. It’s easy for costs to creep up if queries aren’t well optimized. I’ve also found that some advanced administration or tuning features require more of a learning curve. But overall, these are minor compared to the value we get from the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Snowflake as our cloud data warehouse to centralize all our business data. It serves as the backbone for reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics. We run ETL pipelines to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets, and our BI tools connect directly to Snowflake for live querying. We also use it to share data securely with partners and other departments, and to support machine learning workloads by providing a single, scalable source of truth.
