Dynatrace is the go to tool for monitoring and observability

Easy OneAgent installation and very quick

Navigation could be more user friendly and improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is mostly used to monitor infrastruce issue and to implement best practices.

Great product - support is horrible
What do you like best about the product?
The product work very well and does exactly as advertised. you can easily build dashboard from system data to know exactly what is going on in your systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace's support is some of the worst I've experienced in a long time. Dynatrace is not a cheap product and I would have expected to be able to speak to a live person for what we pay, but this is not an option. You must email back and forth with support until your issue is resolved. Considering they are a platform used to monitor mission critical services, if one of those reports is not working as expected, you need to get that fixed quickly. Also if your issue is with a report and not with their core services, they do not treat your issue with any urgency. I would expect that if you have a report that is critical to your business operations that is not functioning they would have a way to get in touch with someone quickly to resolve.
They say that you get a dedicated CSM and account team to provide you with support any time you need, but I have reached out many times to my account team for issues or just help and most times they don't even respond. At this point I have just given up trying to contact them.
They have an toll-free number you can call, but you have to just leave a message to call you back.
Personnally I feel that their support is a complete joke, especially for a product that is a premium price costing thousands of dollars a year.
If you are looking for a product to rely on for mission critical services, I suggest you look elsewhere because as soon as you have an issue it will takes days or even weeks to resolve leaving you blind where you may experience customer issues and outages and never know it.

We moved to dynatrace to be able to understand when customers are having issues and having the ability to analyze those issues and fix quickly.
Rookout is a great solution for live environment debugging with a very low trace

The ability to debug a live running production environment, without hampering the service.

Tracing bugs that are difficult to replicate in none production environments

What do you like best about the product?
Rookout gives a way to debug in production that I've never seen anywhere else! It has been very helpful in tracking down issues that are impossible to reproduce in staging or to gather information when we don't know how to reproduce the issue.

The filters to select which servers to add breakpoints to doesn't always work well when there are a couple thousand servers involved.

Debugging issues in production when we don't know how to reproduce them locally.
Very simple to operate and integrate, and this is its main advantage.

Very simple to use and integrate. Also simple to incorporate in the codebase.

The focus on the "online debugging" use case is indeed powerful, but limits the use to a certain use case. The product should bring more features for analysis of memory, cpu and profiling and performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Debugging complex issues on production become much easier when we can put breakpoints in real production code.
Great product, answer a real pain!
What do you like best about the product?
Rookout saved us hours in debugging a remote environment, just by giving us the ability to add some breakpoints or see data without adding printing and waiting for deployment cycle. We used it on a daily basis, and it was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to add here, the team was very responsive to all of our questions and product was really easy to integrate and use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote debugging - as mentioned, it help reduce the development and debugging time, and by that - saved us money :)
Monitor, Analyse and keep your application secure with Dynatrace
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is we can easily integrate it with other testing tools. Dynatrace's Davis AI and user friendly interface helps us to keenly measure the performance of our applications. With the help of custom made dashboards we can easily montior the behaviour of our application. The system alerts us in advance, whenever it suspects any external threat to our applications, which helps us to mitigate the problem at the earliest. The support team is very approachable and helpful in resolving our queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much we dislike about Dynatrace.
Couple of suggestions - 1 - The pricing can be more competitive. 2 - Set up and configuration time needs to be reduced.

Dynatrace has helped us to keenly monitor the performance of our application and track traffic which helps us to understand the behavior of our audience and provide them more better user experience. The custom made dashboard provides all the required information at one place which helps us to make calculative decisions. It takes us to root cause of the problem which helps us to easily fix and mitigate the issue. The real time and powerful insights has really helped us to predict and avoid every possible problems related to performance of our application.

Multi dimention analytical view with traces is very nice feature to get more insight. CLient side metrics and traces is good help for developer fixing APM tool feedback.
