Without Bright Data I couldn't achieve what I needed
What do you like best about the product?
Their proxy solutions (i.e. the Web Unlocker) are exactly what I need in my field of work on a daily basis. They work great, and I overcame significant challenges using these products. All these sound great, but it would not be such a great experience without their constant and top-notch support in solving issues and offering advice. The MVPs of the relationship between my company and Bright Data are, of course, our Account Manager, Marina Matatov: her work enables me to say with remarkable candour that the Cars2click <> Bright Data collaboration is the best one I've ever participated in, and Itamar Efraty: his knowledge of the Web Unlocker inner-workings was instrumental in solving even the most tricky of use cases. It's always a pleasure to collaborate with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
During the almost two years of collaboration, Bright Data grew a lot as a business. That means that I was a client of theirs during their internal restructurings. The changes to their ticketing and support systems were confusing initially, and the contact person changed a few times. Going forward, this should not happen again; as far as I understand, Bright Data is now a well-established company. The communication between our companies has never been better, and I'm excited to continue working with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data collection is the most significant challenge in building statistical models for our business logic. The proxy solutions of Bright Data enable our company to gather all the data we need to make that happen. Their ability to unlock even the most well-protected websites and make them susceptible to web scraping is exactly what we need in our endeavours.

The collaborative approch of the bright data team, really let us kick start our project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. The only thing I would point out is that the UI of the platform could be even more intuitive.

High-quality data collection at an affordable price.
Brightdata: a powerful and flexible proxy system
What do you like best about the product?
Their system allowed us to get setup quickly scraping websites. There is little concern for bandwidth or API rate limits, which is a big time saver. Their documentation can be a bit scattered, but once you find the right page it is helpful. Sign-up bonuses were great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
They will not answer or even acknowledge some questions. If you ask questions about how often proxy requests fail, they ignore it. If you ask more technical questions about scraping, they will often just ask that you sign up for a higher-tier service. Feels a little like they are just trying to sell more expensive services rather than help you sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright data provides us with information we would not have without a proxy service. They give us access to a large host of data sources. With Bright data, we can obtain nearly any publicly available data out there.

The easy process to deploy data collectors and the large number of information that we can access with the platform, also the easy process to integrate with all the tools that they offer

the no warnings of payment with the cut of service, but easy way to solve it

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Bright Data is the proxies are reliable and efficient. Their web unlocker works exactly as advertised and saves tons of development time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the pricing can be more budget-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our Business, they have all the things needed for the long-term i.e., support, different IP locations, account management and a human behind the business. Bright Data's service & expertise has been extremely helpful to our business. Any concern we have with proxy or data collection they are quick to assist us with.

Nothing in particular that I dislike. Maybe the only thing is a bit expansive.

What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data is the very best in terms of service, features, and the number of available IP addresses.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is very much a premium service, and the price reflects it. If cost is a significant factor it may be a good idea for some to explore other options as well.

Bright Data provides a proxy layer we use for online data extraction.

What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data really simplifies the web scraping and data amalgamation process. Their developers and staff support around the clock in a prompt fashion and always deliver quality work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much to dislike when it comes to working with the Bright Data team. The only improvement I can see the team making is enabling common communication channels that integrate with their clients. i.e., McDonald's Canada predominantly uses MS Teams, it would great to have the ability to incorporate the Bright Data team into our Teams channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data is enabling the McDonald's Canada team to gain access to detailed competitor insights from pricing, menu offerings, and distributions all available online through their simplified APIs. The most critical work the team has supported us with is in relation to the National pricing dynamics of our competitors. This has been particularly helpful during the current high inflationary times as consumers' spending habits adjust to the new norms and we are able to follow the latest shifts in the market place.
The collector has been quite useful for us and the service + assistance from Matias impeccable.
What do you like best about the product?
With Brighdata, we have been able to automate quite a few processes, and we can focus people's efforts on other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some issues with missing information with the collector, however, they were resolved in less than 24 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching for possible business opportunities in a massive amount of data, which would take a person months to obtain, Brighdata gives it to us in less than 2 hours.
