Effortless Data Collection with Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Bright Data's services for making it very easy to reliably collect public job advertisements. I find their control panel very useful for debugging the API as it allows me to download snapshot results effortlessly. I really like the pricing of their services; it's very fair. Incorporating Bright Data was really easy for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some issues with their snapshots API in the last few months, but those have been resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bright Data to easily collect public job advertisements for analyzing leads related to potential human trafficking.
Easy to Use and Highly Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
I use Bright Data for scientific research and I like the ease of use and customization. I also find that the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
They could improve the explanation of the tools they have available. Many are very good and could be made more visible.

I use Bright Data to automate the scraping of various sources in scientific research projects.
Seamless Setup and Reliable Performance Exceeded Expectations
What do you like best about the product?
In our experience, we did not encounter any significant downsides. The service was reliable, straightforward to set up, and fulfilled our performance requirements. We did not face any technical or usability problems that would have required workarounds. Integration with data collected through the Google Places API worked smoothly. Customer Support was always accessible and we were encouraged to reach out if necessary, though we never found it needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our use case, there were no meaningful downsides. The service behaved predictably, was easy to configure, and met performance expectations. We did not encounter technical or usability issues that would require workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data solved the problem of scalable, reliable collection of public Google Maps data for hospitals in Poland. It removed the need to build and maintain custom scraping infrastructure, handle blocking, or manage proxy rotation. This significantly reduced engineering effort and enabled rapid data acquisition at scale, making large-scale review analysis feasible within tight time constraints.

What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data's tools have enabled our software contractors to quickly add high quality data. Their rotating IP and post extractor services have made our extraction process easier and better. Their team is also easy to communicate with and responsive!
What do you dislike about the product?
For all the tools we have used, we have yet to hit an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data easily abstracts and implements rotating IPs which helps us for content extraction at scale. Bright Data's post extraction tools are easy to use and experiment with.
Extensive Dataset Variety with Rich Variables and Strong Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
They had a variety of datasets to choose from with extensive variables for each. Further, they had strong customer support that was able to help quickly went I encountered download issues. There is also strong built in functionality if you do not want to download files locally. Unlike other real estate data providers, which will sometimes require that you purchase data at a city- or county-level, there are more extensive filtering options to ensure that you don't have to spend money on data that you don't need.
What do you dislike about the product?
This might not be an issue on their side but files are large and difficult to download locally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide lower-cost solutions for real estate data, making such data available to a broader range of researchers and academics.

I really like Bright Data's accessibility, as it provides a wide range of preconfigured scrapers targeting various platforms and data modalities. This allows me to easily pick and choose tools in an off-the-shelf manner and deploy them with simplicity. I also appreciate Bright Data's proxy service, which facilitates a straightforward setup for running our own developed scrapers. This capability is invaluable, as setting up a proxy service independently can be challenging. The seamless proxy integration through Bright Data enables us to effectively deploy our scrapers, simplifying the complexity typically associated with such tasks. Overall, Bright Data offers ease of use and powerful infrastructure, which enhances our data collection capabilities and operational efficiency.

I find the range of tools provided by Bright Data somewhat limited. There are specific platforms that I would like to explore further, but it seems that Bright Data does not currently offer pre-made frameworks for those within its suite. This requires us to develop our own custom solutions, which can be a risk. Consequently, there is potential to expand coverage and provide a more streamlined experience for accessing and deploying those tools.
