I like that Catchpoint gives real-time visibility into performance, it's easy to spot issues. The most helpful part is how quickly it alerts us about downtime or slow response times. It saves a lot of manual checking and support team is quick and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the setup feels a little bit complex at first, and it takes time to fully explore all the features. Setup takes some effort, but runs smoothly after. Apart from that rest of the things are fine and easy to understand.

Catchpoint helps us detect downtime and performance issues early, So user are not impacted. It saves troubleshooting time, improves reliability and ensure smoother digital experience.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Catchpoint for me is the detailed diagnostics it provides. Instead of just telling me something is wrong, it helps me understand why it’s wrong—whether it’s DNS, routing, or application latency. This really reduces the time my team spends on troubleshooting and helps us resolve incidents faster.

The only thing I dislike is that Catchpoint has so many features that it takes some time to fully learn and configure. Once you get used to it, though, it becomes very powerful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a network engineer, Catchpoint helps me identify and resolve performance issues much faster. It gives visibility not just into our internal applications, but also into external dependencies like DNS, BGP, and CDN providers. Before using it, it was difficult to prove whether a slowdown was caused by our network or by an external service. Now, with Catchpoint’s global vantage points and path analysis, I can quickly see where the problem lies.

Along with that it offers wide range of setup for alerting mechanisms and representation of logs for analysis.

The tool becomes quite slow with integration built up.
Takes quite sometime to load and process logs when you have thousands of application level logs generating every minute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Catchpoint allows us to debug application level logs whenever any integration fails.
This helps in performing fixes specially during deployment of new features while testing.

What is our primary use case?
We are using this for an eCommerce product for live customers. This is used to monitor business performance, checking if customers are able to make payments on time or if they encounter issues during online shopping. If there are issues in a specific market, we can monitor the entire country and identify the frequency of issues. We wait for 15 minutes and, if the frequency increases, we take quick action.
What is most valuable?
One of the features, the scatter plot, is very useful. It shows red dots wherever there are issues. Another feature is regional filtering, which allows us to filter the market based on risk. For instance, suppose we want to identify issues in all markets over the last twenty-four hours. These are the two features we use most frequently.
What needs improvement?
As part of the improvement, there are certain categories, like for the China market, where we face issues. We are currently using an external tool, Splunk, for reporting. If we could receive similar data for the China market as we do for North America and Asia Pacific, this would be helpful.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used the solution for around four years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
So far, we have not found any issues. During business hours, it has worked absolutely fine without any issues.
How are customer service and support?
I haven't reached out to technical support so far, so I'm not sure about it. I did not contact anyone in Catchpoint technical team.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is very simple. There is no complexity in that.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We have Grafana, which is a tool for monitoring at the functional level. However, this functional level is not available in Catchpoint.
What other advice do I have?
Overall, for Catchpoint, my advice is if there is any plan for improvement, it would be helpful, and maybe the number of users will increase. I would give a rating of seven out of ten.

Catchpoint is an extremely powerful product. My reps have been helpful and responsive, some of the best I've worked with across vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
As powerful and feature rich as the product is that can lead to complexity in the user experience. As someone who isn't a daily user, the depth can be daunting.
