What do you like best about the product?
A real‑time, dynamic visualization of how services and dependencies (internal and third-party) connect and perform—helping teams isolate root causes faster
What do you dislike about the product?
It took time for newer team members to navigate the UI and fully gi through all features. More onboarding walkthroughs would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Catchpoint stands out for its comprehensive visibility into the entire Internet stack, offering real-time insights that are both wide in scope and deep in diagnostic value.

In some cases catchpoint requires multiple clicks to perform detailed performance analysis, making it cumbersome to identify errors and impacted transactions

What is our primary use case?

We are using this for an eCommerce product for live customers. This is used to monitor business performance, checking if customers are able to make payments on time or if they encounter issues during online shopping. If there are issues in a specific market, we can monitor the entire country and identify the frequency of issues. We wait for 15 minutes and, if the frequency increases, we take quick action.

What is most valuable?

One of the features, the scatter plot, is very useful. It shows red dots wherever there are issues. Another feature is regional filtering, which allows us to filter the market based on risk. For instance, suppose we want to identify issues in all markets over the last twenty-four hours. These are the two features we use most frequently.

What needs improvement?

As part of the improvement, there are certain categories, like for the China market, where we face issues. We are currently using an external tool, Splunk, for reporting. If we could receive similar data for the China market as we do for North America and Asia Pacific, this would be helpful.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used the solution for around four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

So far, we have not found any issues. During business hours, it has worked absolutely fine without any issues.

How are customer service and support?

I haven't reached out to technical support so far, so I'm not sure about it. I did not contact anyone in Catchpoint technical team.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is very simple. There is no complexity in that.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We have Grafana, which is a tool for monitoring at the functional level. However, this functional level is not available in Catchpoint.

What other advice do I have?

Overall, for Catchpoint, my advice is if there is any plan for improvement, it would be helpful, and maybe the number of users will increase. I would give a rating of seven out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
Catchpoint is an extremely powerful product. My reps have been helpful and responsive, some of the best I've worked with across vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
As powerful and feature rich as the product is that can lead to complexity in the user experience. As someone who isn't a daily user, the depth can be daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Catchpoint helps us identify issues such as downtime or performance bottlenecks across the world before our users do. We can identify and fix issues before any support tickets get filed.

The overall experience has been great from the cathpoint. Im able to get thorough insight on my pages and being global company we are able to get insights from different locations.

As per my experience i didn't find any cons of this company may be my experience is not that much to judge the company
