What do you like best about the product?
Tanzu was so easy to set up, it's like having the greatest cloud backup. The way it manages Kubernetes is pure magic and the way it works well with different clouds is a game changer. Expansion is stress-free and it's important to play it safe. I love the flexibility the runtime box gives me, it allows me to use the tools I love. When it comes to collaboration, Tanzu is the ultimate team player with extensive cloud support and CI/CD tools. It's like having a tech expert who complicates things
What do you dislike about the product?
Tanzu's learning curve was steeper than I expected, so my initial research was a bit of a headache. The data is clear, but there are simpler methods available. I often get distracted by jargon. Sometimes UI glitches can cause performance issues, and the tendency to use the platform abruptly can cause headaches. Improvements could be made regarding integration with CI/CD tools. Installation feels like a chore rather than a smooth process. Tanzu has her strengths, but her quirks can also be surprising.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tanzu simplifies the intricate process of field orchestration, save me priceless time and effort. The resource management headache is eliminated by the car-scaling feature, which guarantees optimal performance without requiring frequent human adjustments. Because of the platform's versatility, I can select the container runtimes I want, creating a toolset that is unique for each of my endeavours. Tanzu's multi-cloud assistance makes it easy to participate in exclusive settings, and its smooth connection with CI/CD technologies expedites my development process. Fundamentally, Tanzu was a dependable and essential component of my arsenal, not only because it handles Kubernetes complexities but also because it enhances my whole improvement experience.

Tanzu allows us to containerize oir workloads to run on premises or in the cloud, while increasing security and manageability. Tanzu is very easy to use and easy to implement as well. Tanzu is best for customer support work and it is world wide frequently used. It is very easy to integration and Number of features are more as compare with other cloud services.

Nothing as such but it can be more customer friendly and fast if we compare with other software and cloud providers.

Its add it's benefit to a already working system hypervisor system and gives an option to the business to start utilitizing the kubernetes architecture without any platform issues

Its new age and need some muturity and learning curve from technology side.

Its add the container management through tradition hypervisor management software vcenter and add minimum issues from the platform management.

As such there is no major dislike about tanzu but it's competitor openshift is serving heavy load infra with security easily as compare to tanzu.

So in the organisation we were migrating applications to modern infra of containerize platform with simple and easy method.
my experience has been outstanding, especially managing the tool to our needs is perfect.

it actually helps out with simplifying the deployment and management of certain clusters and allowing your organization to make it easier to adopt and operate Kubernetes scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of using Tanzu is the ongoing maintenance and operations due to clusters still requiring an ongoing effort. This includes tasks such as upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting which can be time-consuming. The other would be cost considerations the adoption of Tanzu may involve licensing costs and security and compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tanzu is helping us solve many solutions one of them being container orchestration, which simplifies the development and management of Kubernetes clusters, making it easier for our business to leverage container orchestration capabilities.

It's been an ideal option for me, enabling the platform to deploy the application successfully on a wide scale with consistent Kubernetes quality, giving me the advantage of having Multi-cloud Kubernetes management and End-to-end connection and security.
It also helps to modernize old apps without requiring any lifting, which is the beauty of this platform that allows customers like me to have smooth operation and deployments. Helps in integrating easily by using VMware vSphere in order to connect with other platforms.
I have been using it from past two years and the experience was really good and thanks for the customer support system also that lead me to solve the bugs quite easily.

It's a really good platform, but when compared to other cloud solution providers, users don't always choose it first. In my experience, too, integration isn't as good as when using cloud providers like AWS and Azure, though synchronization with Kafka might be a little simpler.
Tanzu is not a wise choice in such scenario because the support is also not that great if we require the first implementation and a better integration solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been providing an effective and affordable platform for all types of organizations to use and manage, as well as good product features and usability, and it has assisted me in setting up the platform as I have been mostly working on AWS and an optimal solution with my lower data amounts, such as gigabytes, can be superfluous in order. The best solution, allowing me to query terabytes of data databases. It is also been providing learning courses that help me to learn more about the cloud and the deployments and to be familiar with the platform.

The platform focus on security gives me peace of mind, knowing that my applications are built on a solid foundation. Tanzu also automates many of the platform operations tasks, which frees up my time to focus on what I do good indirect developing great apps. The user interface is easy to navigate, and everything integrates seamlessly, making Tanzu a joy to work with. I highly recommend VMware Tanzu to any developer looking to boost their productivity and create top-notch applications.

Tanzu is a strong tool for managing Kubernetes and developing apps, but it has some downsides to consider. It can be complex to learn, it ties you to VMware, it doesn't have as many third-party tools, and it can be expensive.

Problem at our business want apps quickly, just like needing a house ready for a big family event. Tanzu speeds up the whole process, making it like finishing the house before the family arrives. Clients are happy because they get their apps on time.
Great platform for rapid development across multiple clouds
What do you like best about the product?
It is an awesome platform that enables quick development, delivery and operations targets multiple clouds. It is designed for modern applications and containers on modern infrastructure. It's a portable pass. Earlier known as Pivotal. Most of the services are available as a part of platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such but some services updates are pain sometimes. But the good part is it can be controlled by upgrade mechanism like blue green deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great platform for developing modern containerized application which can Target multiple clouds, not bounded to a specific cloud or technology. Supporting a list of great services like Redis, Config Server, Autoscaling, which is very convenient to configure and use. Integration with DevOps is also seamless.
