It is very easy to use and to build integrations to move data from point A to point B
What do you dislike about the product?
They are a little bit slow on addition new features. Not a dealbreaker tho
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly integrating systems by building integrations/processes. Worked on over 15+ projects so far
One of the top Cloud Based ETL Tool in the MArket today
What do you like best about the product?
Ease Of Use, Complex Work made Easy, Zero Coding, Quickly Adaptable, Highly Configurable and Flexible
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly expensive, No Pay As You Go Model
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing Data from Multiple Sources and Centralizing into a Common Storage and Enterprise Warehouse.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To mode Data across system there is no tool as simple to use and as flexible as SnapLogic.
It is a good tool which does plug and play instead of some tools which require programing.
What do you like best about the product?
Have most of snaps that does all the work.
Report Automation! This is a MUST have for any team that wants to send automated reports.
Updating metrics that don't come through another solution. If you need to get data into a larger data set, Snap is the best (only?) way to do it cleanly.
Simple interface. You don't need to be a developer to learn and understand Snap pipelines.
Easy pipeline with simple drag and drop snaps to do the transforming
Creating SCD has become easier than any other tool
Scheduling tasks are also easier with Snaplogic
Using rest API other tools/services can be integrated
Cheap and easily install-able

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to be dislike i can mention here.
Your underlying data to snap into a different solution (SQL) must be VERY clean, or pipelines break. I expect this, but it would be great if you could adjust columns without breaking a pipeline.
The installation process is vague, and our customers have issues with using Java for security reasons. If they had an install package that could fix that it would be less of an issue.
They could make it more convenient to use on the web browser, if I was working on a customer in the Manager I don't want to have to navigate to keep going back to that.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing address validation, Oracle data insert, file encryption, file decryption
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to complete data integration for a non-tach-savvy person.
Cheaper than other established data integration products such as Informatica, Talend etc...
Not much maintenance headache as this is both a platform as a service, as well as software as a service.

Best ETL framework on the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the flexibility it provides. Also we can create our own custom snaps according to the business needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Error messages are very cryptic and sometimes hard to understand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Snaplogic for all our middleware aka ETL needs. The benefits realized are huge as it has reduced the development time significantly because of its ease of use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a powerful and flexible tool. Also very easy to use and have tons of functionality needed for an enterprise.
Snaplogic Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can collaborate with other users easily and share pipelines (unlike in Alteryx). I also appreciate the ease of setting up APIs to easily load, refresh data and run pipelines. Everything is very intuitive and support has been very helpful when it comes to resolving issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I struggle with debugging pipelines when it fails. Switching between organizations can also be quite slow. Setting up accounts and organizing files in each project space can also be cleaner and more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to extract and load data, lift and shift from different database sources into central repository. Transform data. I enjoy using the automated scheduled tasks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would love to be able to do data profiling in snaplogic.
My Experiences With SnapLogic
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use in creating the pipelines. Relatively easy to learn if you are familiar with traditional programming languages such as Perl, C++, Python, etc. Also if you get in trouble, there is a very quick response from their help desk. My colleagues and I attended a one week in-house training session. I heartily recommend that this is the 1st step. Our instructor left with us the pipelines that we learned in class, so that made it easy to refer back to once we began our own projects. The collection of functions in the Snaps provided make it easy to configure the pipelines desired. In particular, the Mapper Snap has tremendous capabilities in shaping the data or applying functions of all types to achieve the variables that you need. The ability to validate the pipeline as you develop it makes this product a winner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more complex snap topics such XML formatting need additional information to make it easier to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System Integration and Data Mining. Using SnapLogic it is much quicker to realize a prototype to show others if a concept works. Once you start working with and build your own library, it is very easy to configure the pipelines that you need. I have successfully used this product to create three new integrations and to replace an existing integration written in Perl. I've also developed adhoc pipelines to verify that the data flows are correct on legacy systems. One example of this is to verify the data flow from Peopelesoft to Microsoft Identity Management. I've even shown some of my colleagues how they can solve difficult problems such as extracting from Ellucian's Banner ERP to specific outbound systems with ease.
Snaplogic for All Data related activities
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to develop in short time, more connectors, wide application connectivity, easy automation , more dynamic features availability . easy migration, api integration was quite easy compare to other tools like talend. code repository in one place no need to pull code outside. faster search of components. wide administration , monitoring APIS. easy integration of other applications like tidal.
What do you dislike about the product?
no clear indication of IF ..ELSE feature, felt hard for dimensional model data population, not seen partition concept for better/parallel processing. Few snaps make data not to pass through mainly for DML activity snaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross platform data related activities, application integration and API services . Keeping everything in one place for ETL, ESB made much easier. Data load from other applications into HDFS, Hive, SQL Server, S3, FTP etc. Application integration for real time data processing from SFDC to SAP etc. connecting zendesk to jira, sfdc to jira, redshift. parsing of wide variety of files, excel, csv, txt, json etc. Using snaps shown some better performance while dealing large data sets. easy connectivity of one snap to other. can be developed our own exception handling process very easily. Looping /triggering multiple pipe lines at a time is very nice feature where we can control dynamic execution's. very less tools has given this feature for making etls more dynamic, we can also pass parameter values from one pipeline to other is very good. validation option helps us debugging instant .overall i like most of its feature to compare to other tools which i worked like informatica talend, SSIS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One solution for all data related activities.
New user but manage a team that uses SnapLogic frequently.
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity and reusability. We have some snaps that we keep reusing over and over for different purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cryptic error messages. The error messages can sometimes be way off base in terms of straightforward - where the problem is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 75 different integrations with our main system. Our main system is on an Oracle DB platform and some of the systems that we integrate with are on a SQL Server platform. Over the last several years, Oracle has been, more and more, not playing nice with SQL Server, getting disconnect errors, etc. causing processes to ABEND. We have not experienced any of these problems with SnapLogic. Over time, we are moving over many of our integrated processes over to the SnapLogic platform in order to avoid all the issues we experience with Oracle playing nice with SQL Server.
Takes the Pain Out of Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
It does a great job displaying the data in between each step of the integration, which really speeds up troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some UI pieces they can improve, but honestly the few things we have reported as issues have already been fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to replace ETL tools for data ingestion. We have found that routing our ETL, integrations and automations through SnapLogic allows us to leverage the scheduling and monitoring capabilities in one place across a multitude of SaaS applications, integrations and ETL/ELT.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend you do the same extensive evaluation we did. We analyzed cost, features, company direction, ability to scale etc across several iPaaS providers. We went through a POC with 4 of those. We included stakeholders from multiple business units and opened the POCs to citizen integrators across the company.
