Great when it works. Often finicky
What do you like best about the product?
A great sense of security. Link-based deliveries and cloud-style storage offer a lot of flexibility for various clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Relying on Aspera felt like a gamble most days. The plugin would stop working with little rhyme or reason, even after multiple re-installs and updates across different browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File sharing. File security.

Surprisingly fast and stable
What do you like best about the product?
The stability of the software is better than when it was installed locally.

Nothing yet I'll have to see in a few weeks.

P2P file transfers are exponentially faster and the graphical user interface is much more easy to understand specially when training new employees.

IBM Aspera on Cloud is the best object-storage and collaboration cloud software.
What do you like best about the product?
IBM Aspera on Cloud can easily store all of our files, images, objects and videos to support render-less activities in our organization. Saving all of our documents to the cloud storage is a huge benefit for its users. Important documents and files can easily be shared and stored which we can also access in quite easy manner. It also provide the unlimited storage space options which will allow us to backup all important files and documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most frustrating thing about this software is that when I upload a document and files to the IBM Aspera on Cloud Storage, then its quite difficult to make any further editing. It has also not been able to withstand a large working flow which slows down its server downtime. But overall it is quite a remarkable tool delivering the best services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Aspera on Cloud Storage is great tool for file and object storage because we can easily manage all of our important documents and files efficiently. This software provide the best quality for uploading the multiple files and we can also easily share multiple files with our colleagues and team members to collaborate in a better way. It has significant features to integrate it with our professional accounts to easily link up all our files and working procedures. It has enable us to store our content in an efficient manner.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the privacy of IBM cloud. Transfer rates are hundreds of times faster than the standard http/ftp. I'm even able to move files of any size at extremely fast speeds. All at the same time I'm able to control my data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I'm not able to integrate it as easy as AWS into other services. Even Azure has the option. Other than that I have no issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy data transfer and storage. At the same time products can reach customers fairly fast.

Good Product for High Speed File Transfer
What do you like best about the product?
IBM aspera is very useful for transferring large files and large collections of files across any distance. It helps to moves data from the client using unique direct-to-cloud transport technology. It can Manage transfer activities, storage usage, and digital packages in real time.

IBM aspera is very good at its performance but its not upto its mark on user interface. So some modification required in user interface

It helps in API management, Messaging and handles extremely large files or collections of files over wide area networks

I use it for cloud operation purposes. It is easily understood by anyone.

I do not dislike anything of it. But it can make a bit more interactive.

I use for all business problems including IBM cloud operations. It is a good software and i do not want to disclose more details about it.

Aspera perfect solution for file transfers and aspera on cloud is easy to use and pricing option.

Can be little cheaper for small companies.

We are transferring big media files. Before aspera we had to do it with external hard drives
Lets you keep multiple cloud services!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the fact that people at our company don’t have to terminate their accounts with other cloud services. They can all coexist with the IBM software. It’s made it really easy to seamlessly move files around.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that some people in the company also have the IBM Aspera plugin on their browsers & it did decrease speed for them. I did not experience this problem but take this inconsistency into account if you’re thinking of getting the plugin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the problem of not having every employee on the same cloud service. It’s not feasible for us because each person has their own software preferences. But IBM Aspera on Cloud still allows us to share what we need to with each other.
