Okta provides enhanced cybersecurity for our systems. This applies to both office work and remote work. It also enables a consistent security system across our network.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and have immediate access to all programs you use daily. You login to Okta and all your programs are right there and just a quick click to login. Don't need multiple logins for different programs you use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have any complaints or issues. Never have experienced anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy for me to access all programs that I use on a regular basis with ease and security.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using it as SSO and it collates multiple apps need for the user, accessible with single login. This has lead to a positive user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It logs you out from Okta homepage after sometime may be due to inactivity. This may be an additional security layer, but not sure if this happens with everyone.
So you have to login again and again and go through the Multi factor authentication steps. This could be irritating if you are logged out in between a meeting.

Gets me access to all my applications in one place. This is very essential when you work with multiple applications and this saves time.

I’ve been using Okta for several years, and it’s been consistently dependable. It handles user authentication securely and efficiently, forming a strong foundation for our organization’s access management.
The app dashboard is especially useful—it acts as a centralized console where I can easily navigate internal tools, request access, and raise tickets when needed. Everything feels streamlined and well-integrated.

sometimes Okta fast pass doesnt sync very well

The Identity Management Scope because Okta is designed to manage all user identities comprehensively; attempting to manage only some identities or using external identity stores alongside Okta can be problematic and is generally discourage

Okta’s features like Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and adaptive security policies reduce the risk of unauthorized access and data breaches by enforcing strong, consistent access controls across all applications
Super convenient and easy to keep your accounts secure
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with the Apple copy and paste feature between Mac and iPhone, you can easily copy your Okta code from your mobile device and paste it into the login screen on the Mac.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are tech glitches and errors that are frusrating to deal with because I'm not sure what is actually going wrong when it gives me an error.

The initial learning curve can be a bit steep. Also, technical support could be faster in some cases.

Before, we had many problems with users forgetting passwords and accessing a thousand different platforms. With Okta, everything is centralized, and access is more secure and faster.

nothing much to dislike except push notifications does not give hard alert unlike other apps

Okta is powerful but not cheap, especially for small to mid size business.

SSO reduces the need to remember multiple passwords. User log in once and get access to everything they need securely.

Only dislike about okta is, its pricing can get expensive, especially for smaller businesses or if you need many advanced features, making it less affordable for everyone

Okta solves the problem of needing to remember tons of different usernames and passwords for all the apps and websites you use, which is not only annoying but also risky if one password gets stolen. It benefits me by letting me log into everything with just one secure Okta account, saving me time and reducing the stress of forgotten passwords, all while adding extra security like multi-factor authentication to keep my digital life much safer.
