It is extremely secure and appears to be very good with authentications.

Okta is clunky and oftentimes you need to log into it multiple times within an hour.

Okta helps make sure that our tooling is secure- makes it less likely for a breach.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta simplifies identity and access management by centralizing user authentication, provisioning and access control. This improves visibility, reduces manual effort and strengthens overall security posture. It also integrates well with a wide range of applications and is highly reliable.

While there is room for improvement in terms of intuitiveness and customization for some features, the platform as a whole continues to be dependable and effective.

Convenient Access and Security, But 2-Step Login Can Be Frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Okta is how easy it makes getting into everything I need. Having one secure login instead of multiple passwords saves time and frustration, and it’s reassuring to know there’s strong security in place without it feeling complicated. It really helps keep my day moving smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Okta is that the extra security steps, like multi-factor authentication, can sometimes feel repetitive or slow things down—especially when logging in multiple times a day. While I understand the importance of security, it can occasionally interrupt the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta solves the problem of managing multiple logins and passwords by giving one secure place to access all the tools I need. This benefits me by saving time, reducing login issues, and making it easier to move between systems without interruptions. It also adds an extra layer of security, which gives peace of mind while still keeping the experience simple and efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Okta is cloud-based and easy to implement, which makes it convenient for us. The dashboard is great for managing access and applications, providing a kind of self-service experience that's really handy. With single sign-on (SSO), it's amazing because there's absolutely zero re-authentication needed. It's a centralized hub that simplifies our workflow by offering search-based application access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smaller organizations might not be able to manage cost. A few security breaches but all resolved now. Setup was a bit complex but the Okta team supported us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Okta for centralized authentication, eliminating manual onboarding and offboarding. It offers easy distinction between internal and external users. The dashboard simplifies access with search-based application use, and SSO ensures zero re-authentication.
Effortless SSO Use, MFA Setup, and Seamless Mobile Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is simple from an end-user perspective, and the mobile app makes it easy to set up new MFA profiles and login wherever needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transferring the mobile app and all profiles to a new device can be a bit of a headache, but it sort of has to be to maintain security, so I don't fault it for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta helps us solve our SSO need to great effect. We can access nearly all of our internal applications using one secure platform.

It has allowed me to centralize access to different web and mobile applications in a quick and easy way for all users

There's really not much to improve about the tool, except perhaps for more information on security updates to be released.

It has helped me solve user identification problems within the different corporate web applications we have
Secure and Easy Login Experience, No Issues So Far
What do you like best about the product?
I love the safety and ease of knowing that Okta is secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not personally had any issues with Okta. It's always been a breeze to log in, and security has been top-notch notch
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Safety and security, knowing that when I am logged in with VPN my access is secure. All my work documents are secure. No one can log into my computer.
Seamless Identity Verification and Effortless Staff Adoption
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use by staff after implementation, usually works seamlessly in the identity verification process, not causing any lag in login access time
What do you dislike about the product?
Specialized features quickly drive up the price of implementation for organizations with very large user bases and okta comes off more expensive than a lot of competitors in that regard

Simplification of the identity management process in the organization especially across multiple SaaS platforms all interconnected for use
