Streamlines Access with Seamless Provisioning
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can use SCIM provisioning with Okta, as it enables a faster onboarding/offboarding process. It makes it easier to onboard and offboard users across multiple applications without having to click through each one for removal. The ability to upload key features of a user's profile, such as department and role, into whatever application they need to be onboarded into or off from is also really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely, how we upload that information, I think that is a larger conversation, however, just so that way we can, gather more information from, where we get our, informations from our HRIS system. So that way, we're able to, upload more detailed, information when it comes to a user's overall profile, such as region, location, things of that nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Okta to streamline the login process, allowing users to use a single set of credentials for multiple apps. Scheme provisioning enables faster operations, letting us onboard and offboard users efficiently without manually handling each application.

I like how Okta makes logging into each app easy and secure, solving and protecting against security issues for work-sensitive information. The features work together to reduce risks in day-to-day operations, and the initial setup of Okta was easy.

I find the troubleshooting steps tedious when I'm unable to access Okta, and it doesn't allow secondary login options.

I really like how Okta balances strong security with ease of use. The single sign-on experience is smooth for end users, and features like multi-factor authentication and adaptive security policies give me confidence that access is well protected. I also appreciate Okta's reliability and its wide range of integrations with cloud and enterprise applications. Its user lifecycle management makes onboarding and offboarding straightforward, which saves time for IT teams and helps maintain consistent access control as the organization grows.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Okta is very strong overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for advanced use cases, and often require experienced administrators to get everything right. Cost is another consideration as the licensing and add-on features can become expensive as our operational skills. Additionally, troubleshooting authentication or integration issues isn't always straightforward, and clearer, more centralized logging and error messages would make issue resolution easier.

It strengthens security with multi-factor authentication, reducing IT overhead. The best features Okta Platform offers are the ease of use and the ease of access.
The ease of use comes from the very user-friendly interface, which allows us to select the application we need to sign on to easily. The ease of access stands out because it can be accessed through one link only.
Okta Platform has positively impacted our organization because our staff can connect to all tools and applications we use from a single location, which has saved us time.
When we have a new joiner who does not know the links for our tools or applications, they spend time asking other users and may engage in lengthy conversations. Because of that, we advise the new joiner to sign in to Okta Platform, and they will find all the applications and tools they need.
What needs improvement?
Okta Platform can be improved by enhancing the mobile application because sometimes it has issues. Specifically, sometimes the OTP is not received for the mobile application.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used Okta Platform for approximately one and a half years.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using Okta Platform is that it saves money and effort and saves time, making it a great solution for your company. I rate this product 9 out of 10.

This is a secure solution for centralized authentication and serves as a reliable identity provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say, since Okta is currently the market leader in identity services. However, the licensing costs are somewhat high, which makes it challenging for smaller organizations to adopt this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta addresses the challenge of fragmented identity and access control by unifying authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management for all applications. This centralization has drastically reduced our complexity in identity management and SSO integrations. The wide range of Out of the box applications for integration makes it very seamless to integrated your on-prem or cloud native tools and services. Few key features to call out are Adaptive MFA, Device context and risk based authentication policies.

What do you like best about the product?
That all the applications/tools that we need to use can be accessed from a single place, without the need to add your credentials every single time. The platform is easy to implement and integrate with existing applications with excellent customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, I don't see any downsides of using the Okta platform and really happy to see it's various features, I use it daily to access a number of platforms/tools/application via SSO.

The app allows for multiple logins, which is a useful feature.
Effortless Login with Push Notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I like the push notification system in Okta, that way I do not have to manually log in to the app and copy paste the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logging in takes some tome because of two factor authentication. Even though I understand why that is necessary from a security perspective, it still makes loging in cumbersome.
