SSO capabilities, Application support, Availability

IAM governance use case not present like access certification, workflows for provisioning etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It is intigrated with AD so no need to assigned application manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some settings are very tricky. So very difficult to remember.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Take care of Administrating part.
Great product for authentication and authorisation as a service but lacks proper documentation
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Okta for end user authentication and API Authorization and it has been working flawlessly for us. I liked the Okta dashboard to manage our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something which has always bothered us about Okta is it's documentation. I feel the documentation is very scattered and needs to organised to help developers follow the best practices w.r.t security.

We are using Okta for end user authentication and API Authorization using access token.

I love single signon & having apps together in one place. I enjoy using Okta and how easy it is to use.

Okta wants to save every password which I'm not always a fan of.

Feeling more organized and security of work programs
Wow! Good and decent tool for authentication.

We like few features of this tool. The security keys are holding for more than 10 seconds which is very easy to use the key for login purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation is too complicated and very hard to understand even for technical persons. So they should provide a decent document for everyone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have installed this application on our mobile phone. So we can use this from anywhere to use the authentication key. This is how we have solved the problems after using the OKTA multi-factor authentication tool.

great that many started using multi-factor authentication tool and we are using this tool from OKTA. So i would like to suggest this for others too.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very quick and the best authenticator application in recent times and currently, we are using this in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is lagging for few times and it gets interrupted by other small applications. So that should be monitored by the technical team of OKTA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we can log in with a proper security key, which is accessible only by genuine users. So it is good to see the best features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We should use this product to secure the data by logging in securely with the help of an authentication key. And it works fine for us, now we are happy.
Best Solution as Identity as a service (Idaas)
What do you like best about the product?
Okta nowadays is most trustable organization which provides such services. The best thing I like about Okta is, it provided Identity as a service. Gives us facilities to manage user's identity. We can add users in okta directory. There are multiple ways to import users into okta directory like by csv sheet, query, by form provided by okta. Okta provided very easy way to manage user's identity. It contains multiple micro services like provisioning, deprovisioning etc which make okta different than other solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Where I was using the product I had a task to import 20 lacs of HP employees into Okta. It was very difficult to make such a query for that. Also almost impossible to do with importing such csv file contains lacs of users into okta.
While importing the csv file into okta, we need to make sure the column names should be same as okta directory policy else may give importing error.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While dealing with one task I found that It was almost impossible to do that excel sheet(.csv) to import lacs of users into okta directory and while importing the excel sheet, there must be column names same as okta directory policy which taken my lot of time to fix and get it sorted. But finally using sql queries, had completed that task of importing such a huge hp users into okta. It helped me a lot to gain knowledge about okta.

Okta is the best product in the market to use for following services :

5. Ease of use

I would recommend to use such a easy product to manage user's identity and so on, as described in other sections.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and simple to use.
Besides having your organization's application, you can add the sites you are using (let's say all sorts of sites and application you are using for work and require password or authentication, or both). Ease of self service and password recovery/phone replacement or other authentication mode.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I think it is a great application, especially when I compare it to their competitive and I less happy with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving VPN secure connection issues, also it is very helpful for users, as it allows saving information for personal use websites, which are not automatically set by workplace (and are work-related)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use, allows adding different applications and links to websites, which end user can also determine. It saves credentials quickly and eases the work of the end-user.

The UI is simple and intuitive. Pretty easy for users to understand how it works.

Honestly I can't think of anything worth mentioning in my experience.

In the position that used it we were able to eliminate our need for a token system. It made a one stop solution for our entire workforce.
