It's simple to setup and very user-friendly for end users.

Not many to dislike as it covers a breath of features to protect identity of users.

Singular and simple login experience for all users. Benefits of having less user access issues and/or password resets.

Great compilation of examples if you want to create in integration with your application.

I love that it houses all the different tools we need on the daily and makes logging in simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet! You get logged out after certain amount of time, but I understand that is security purpose.

A simple place to go to access all the different accounts we use.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the formatting of Okta and how easy it amalgamates all of the resources and tools an organization may use in one space for its employees to easily access and remember all they have.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how many times it makes you log in. Sometimes I have to log into Okta, then log into whichever resource up to 2 times. 3 times to log in is excessive and should be shortened

I have more easily accessed all my tools and resources as well as stayed organized and remembered each and every resource I have access to using to improve my job.
Simple Solution for Access Management for an Organisation
What do you like best about the product?
Okta is a very useful platform for managing all the users or employees in an organization for user provisioning within the org for access management and also externally.
What do you dislike about the product?
SCIM configuration is a quite bit confusing compared to the SAML configuration with Okta. It would be very helpful if things become easy to configure with a few clicks and feed correct information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Okta for SAML connection with our application to sign in using the Single Sign-on option which is a very quick and efficient way to log in and manage users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you remove the okta verify app by mistake it would be very difficult for you to get the token to verify and login to the okta's admin console. I would not suggest you to remove the app or reset it. It would be very useful if you have an alternate option to scan the QR code to set up the account again in Okta to verify when it is reinstalled. Pricing could be better if it is a bit lesser. You might have to update the password frequently if you mistakenly input it wrongly which is a bit of time taking. User interface can be made a bit easier to use which is kind of difficult for the people from Non-IT sectors. There is a bit of lag while opening applications which cannot be noticed sometimes.
In the end, MFA and SSO make it totally worth it.

One Stop Single Sign-In Stop
What do you like best about the product?
Okta provides us a one-stop Sign in for all of our business needs. Previously needing to remember 30, 40, even 50 different passwords were unnecessary and slowed down our team. Still, now a single sign-on solution like Okta has provided us the security and the swiftness we need to get in and start working quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue with the Okta login is the ability to put any modifier in the address bar to redirect users to the Okta sign-in page. This flexibility becomes a problem when the end-user mistypes the address or has an unseen typo for the sign-in page. At the same time, the webpage will look like the standard page to a novice; but the user will become increasingly frustrated when their login is not working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an ongoing plan to continue to put our most common programs behind the Okta login. This solution will allow fewer passwords for employees to remember, especially for a user base that commonly has numerous complex passwords to keep track of during a busy work day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your company is having troubles maintaining logins for multiple programs and you are looking for a more streamlined solution to the problem, then I would take a serious look at using Okta for your integration needs. The user experience, in addition to the admin experience, is far better than some of the more outdated models still being used by large companies today.

What do you like best about the product?
Clean app, reliable and easy to work with, predictable and push notifications are easily visible, dual factor authentication allows us to pass our SOX audit and HIPAA compliance

No complaints, I'm not an administrator so hard to speculate on ease of config or setup

VPN and security group administration, allows applications like snowflake to be integrated with active directory easily so we can manage new and terminated users via role based access

Okta houses all my necessary apps in one location, which is very convenient and helps me stay organized
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my apps are greyed out with a red exclamation mark saying that I need the Okta plugin, although I already have it installed on my computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits include that even if Okta doesn't have a tile for the app you're looking for, you can create your own so long as you have the Website URL.

What do you like best about the product?
The single sign-on feature. I am using it to sign in to Gmail, salesforce, mobile apps, and websites without any hassle.

What do you dislike about the product?
Too much security; when I reopen web apps in chrome, it always pushes me to do two-step authentications.
The password changing cycle is one month; even my bank account does not ask me to do that.

Through the Okta homepage, Single sign-on for multiple apps and use a lot of apps hassle-free. It reduces the time for signing in separately for different apps.
