I like it's idea and concept, could be useful when navigating several systems or programs.

Okta is a one-source solution for customers looking for Multifactor Authentication with Robust across the board reach for applications.

The Support is offshore and not as reactive as they could be.

Okta is easy to configure / integrate, has great capabilities, and has an excellent end-user experience. They are the best SSO solution

Nothing! I love it and wouldn't change anything

ease of use and allows for teams to not have to build it ourselves.

When got a new phone and phone number with 2fa it didn't work really well and had to have admin reset.

The idea of security and the initial set up on the first device was ok
What do you dislike about the product?
I think going forward if a company uses Okta I will reconsider whether I should join them. It says something about their tech stack. Look up "Okta death loop" and it's hell if you change devices!!! At least the recommended setup excludes sign in so there is no workaround; your workers are just locked out should they get a new device.

It is the worst!

Syncing with Active Directory sometimes can take time

Building a portal with all the apps for employees - with no need for Users & passwords for each system

Fairly easy to integrate into most things because a lot of third parties support it

They're such a big company that their customer service / implementations team is kind of disorganized

Okta allows me to authenticate my network access quickly and smoothly. Clients expect a high level of data security, especially at a facility that has many employees and remote connections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Okta requires in-depth knowledge from your IT team on how to set up all the users and employees and manage that across an entire company. This requires more effort than my company initially expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta helps keep our data secure by authenticating each employee and user by their laptop credentials. Our customers expect this as their data privacy is a top concern.
