I have been using Okta Workforce Identity for single sign-on purposes to identify and authenticate my identity and access resources at AWS. Whenever I want to connect to Amazon Web Services, I provide a particular CLI Okta command, which opens a window where I am redirected to Okta Workforce Identity's single sign-on page. I authenticate myself through mobile, and once that authentication is completed, I am able to access a particular account according to the role that I have configured in the CLI command.

This is a secure solution for centralized authentication and serves as a reliable identity provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say, since Okta is currently the market leader in identity services. However, the licensing costs are somewhat high, which makes it challenging for smaller organizations to adopt this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta addresses the challenge of fragmented identity and access control by unifying authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management for all applications. This centralization has drastically reduced our complexity in identity management and SSO integrations. The wide range of Out of the box applications for integration makes it very seamless to integrated your on-prem or cloud native tools and services. Few key features to call out are Adaptive MFA, Device context and risk based authentication policies.

Security is important to me because it protects me as an employee from being held responsible for issues on my devices.

I don't have any complaints; I think it's good enough for both the employer and myself.

I like best about okta is that it is easy to use and helps me login to many applications with one account. It saves time and keeps access secure. The dashboard is clear and simple to understand. managing user access is quick and efficient. It is also improves security with single sign-on and multi-factor authentication.

The best features that Okta Workforce Identity offers are single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and privileged access management. It has reduced the time required for authentication and provided a secured way of accessing the Amazon web console.
What needs improvement?
The user interface could be enhanced to allow direct number selection for multi-factor authentication instead of typing out information.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Okta Workforce Identity for two years.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I used Ping, but I find Okta to be more reliable with a great user interface.
What was our ROI?
Time saved is a great example of return on investment. It has saved approximately 50 to 80 percent of our time.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing and licensing setup is typical, and since it follows a per-user, per-month subscription model, it is helpful.
What other advice do I have?
One of my team members lost his phone and was unable to do a direct Okta Workforce Identity login. At that time, email multi-factor authentication was useful and helped him to get logged into Okta Workforce Identity and authenticate himself. I do not see any areas for improvement as Okta Workforce Identity is at its best level currently. Okta Workforce Identity is reliable, and its user experience and user interface are great. I would recommend Okta Workforce Identity to others. My overall experience using Okta Workforce Identity has been excellent. I have given this review a rating of ten out of ten.

The simplicity and effectiveness of this single sign-on feature are invaluable in maintaining both productivity and security, particularly when dealing with websites containing protected health information (PHI). Additionally, the initial setup of Okta was very easy, which further emphasizes its user-friendliness. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with the service it provides, enough to rate it a perfect 10 out of 10 for recommendation to friends and colleagues.
